She doesn't even fly in every comic book incarnation. She didn't in Azzarello's run until Hermes granted her the ability to do so.

Anyway, I've been rewatching the trailer, it looks to me like she does one of her high jumps to avoid being caught in an explosion when that building goes to hell and does the energy bubble thing with her bracelets:

Not sure what creates the blue lighting, though... probably whatever she is blocking.

A goddamn cgi creature.

I'm serious.

That bastah ain't staying in human form for long, mayne. Also, typical bald insecure Supe fans complaining about WW being able to fly. :oldrazz:

I'm more of a fan of Wondy than Sups but thanks for playing take this complementary jar of oxygen as consultation. :o

if you guys are having problems with similar power sets then i shutter to know how you will feel when this guy shows up:loco:

You don't want to know how I'll feel when that... character, shows up.

And it has nothing to do with Superman, like I said in case of Wondy's high jumps versus flying.

Probably, yeah. I at least hope that he'll turn into classic Ares at some point. Also, didn't Diana say in BvS that she killed monsters from other worlds before? If she retired right after this solo film, then it has to happen in the film itself.

By the way, is everyone bald to you now? :p

Am I the only one thinks the theme is too busy? Almost annoying. It's like every person in the reaction video love the theme song. lol

I love, love LOVE the theme but I want something different for this movie. The Zimmer/Junkie theme was PERFECT for her "I'm here, *****es!" moment in BvS but I think for this WWI origin movie it may not be appropriate. I think they'll come up with a new theme for this but we'll still have subtle cues of the Zimmer theme in there.

Brochantress looks really out of place there.

Here's a link to Wonder Woman's rogues gallery:

The only one that seems to fit Danny Huston's character is Ares, literally the God of War, the one who gains strength from the conflict and who likes to pull strings from behind the scene. But it could be that WW is fighting a form of monster that Ares unleashed?

I'm still going with the Duke, he can pull strings as well, can turn into anyone he wants and can bend the will of people. He even once disguised himself as WW but no one knows his true form so it could be a monster

I'm seeing more preemptive complaints about others complaining than actual complaining. Who cares?

My sentiments exactly. Reshoots happen, just another piece of the business. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, they happen, but coming off the heels of Suicide Squad having reshoots, regardless of the reasons, it's going to be interpreted as Warner Bros. panicking again. I mean, who wouldn't at any point make a connection between this and the last DCEU film having reshoots and see even the slightest sign of a pattern?

John Campea said back in May that they will have reshoots, according to his sources. It was planned.

So having Diana flying takes away Superman's uniqueness?
What about Shazam? Who frankly looks more like Clark than Diana ever will.
And yet I'm sure that, no one will see a problem about it.

I don't think that she will fly in the movie unfortunatly, gotta keep women at their place right? :whatever:

Batman don't fly either. Except for his batplane.

A better question would be why would he show up at all..?

And a demigod best describes Wonder Woman. Whether formed from clay by her mother's hands and given life by the gods or fathered by Zeus, she has godly powers in a mortal body. (Or as mortal as a 5000 year old woman can be...)

Have to say that, along with many others, I love that theme song! Have from the moment she dropped down and shielded Batman from Doomsday's doom-ray. Effing awesome beat!

EXCLUSIVE: WONDER WOMAN HEADING BACK FOR RESHOOTS

https://www.flickreel.com/exclusive-wonder-woman-heading-back-for-reshoots/

Let the hysteria begin. Try and come up with something better than, "Pray for DC". I can't wait to read the overreactions.

Reshoots are as common as me putting gas in my car.

It shouldn't be interpreted as WB panicking again. Even going off of what happened with SS, that shouldn't be the case because of how common reshoots are. A movie isn't truly finished until the day it's released. Fact of life.

I doubt we'll see Shazam in Wonder Woman or Justice League although it would be cool to see Billy Batson have a cameo although given the character's meant to be 10 or 11, would be difficult to include him.

They're actual scheduled pick ups, reshoots have a stain associated with them now.

I'd say a reshoot is something like Dr Strange where they decide they need to add a tonal change into the movie.
Pick ups are where they need a different angle, a different actor emote or something that they can't quite get in editing.

In terms of reshoots, I wonder what WB/DC is trying to “fix.” The current pattern is this: their divisive and poorly reviewed movies end up being handsomely profitable. And as far as the bean-counters are concerned, they’d probably prefer that WW be another SS - rather than, say, the “certified fresh” Star Trek Beyond (a BO failure). :word:

Maybe they are not trying to fix anything. Maybe they are adding more action, adding more dialogue, getting alternate shots in, who knows. Pickups are very common for these big budgeted movies. Just because SS had reshoots and it sucked, doesnt mean the same will happen for WW. Correlation doesnt imply causation.

No, please no......

I would rather have a quality movie over a mediocre one which will go ka-ching. Gimme a movie which has heart and some substance to it. Skwad was not of them IMO, so the more WB can distance themselves from it, the better for me.

I don't honestly see how a movie can NOT have reshoots. You would think they would be a part of the process for all movies. One's ideas are bound to evolve and become refined in the editing process. If you have an idea for something that will make the film better but you simply don't have the shot for it, or it needs to be realised differently, then you have no choice but to reshoot some scenes. And if you change one element to fit your new idea, then usually you'll have to change other corresponding elements elsewhere in the film for it to be consistent.

Even in everyday life, people have the equivalent of reshoots - whether they're writing an essay, producing a document, painting a picture etc. If you're adding or changing little bits later that you might suddenly be inspired to do or because you now feel it works better once you see the completed work, then that would be the equivalent of a reshoot.
