This looks pretty fantastic, if you ask me.

If these are the greatest action scenes you've seen on film, then I would advice you to see more films, my friend. I bet you love the Transformers films.

Quite the contrary. While I find MoS fight scenes totally engaging, Transformers' fights feel absolutely sterile to me.

I hope his right

Is it me, or Patty abusing close-ups and slo-mo in action scenes?

Okay, Just saw the trailer. I am still trying to lift my jaws off the floor. Didn't expect that/ Way better than I expected it to be. Now I am officially anticipating this movie. The visuals are drop dead gorgeous. Gadot emotes convincingly in most scenes but still not sure about the accent but I understand why some of you are okay with it. And I love the "videogame" feel towards the end, because these are superhero movies and they are supposed to look unnatural/otherworldly. Of course that's my personal preference since I would take battle scenes from MoS and BvS over other films.

Absolutely.I don't think I'll ever forget my first viewing of MOS in the theatres.Watching the Smallville fight. My jaws were on the floor. The sheer power, the speed, the ferocity! I was like hell yeah!! Finally we're seeing Superman cut loose! It was groundbreaking stuff.

Agreed.

I see plenty of films and no I do not like Transformers.
But I find it quite amusing that you think you know so much about another person and his taste.

The Amazons don't know about bullets. It would be silly if not one of them went down in the beach fight. I'm glad they showed Amazonian tactics and displaying their vulnerability at the same time.

I like the parallel that was made in the trailer with the bullet, first seeing one kill Mayling Ng's character and then Diana casually bouncing it off with her bracelet.

By the way, I just noticed a "Wayne Ent." card of a sort next to the case with the picture in the very beginning.

I like the accent there, her English feels appropriately neutral. Don't know if the trailer is the best place to gauge her acting range when it mostly involves action posing and earnest lines. She at least ranks higher than Cavill for now, imo.

I remember in one of the set photos from that opening shot in Paris, there was a WAYNE armored/security truck.

But since this is taking place on earth, in our world, it should look real IMO. Where you get a feel like you can go outside and see it happen. Otherwise it feels like I'm watching someone else play a videogame.

But other than the end 10 seconds, this looks fantastic and visceral.

Btw is that bug eyed soldier Ewen Bremner?

Loved it more than the first trailer as well. Just seeing her doing more "superheroic" stuff like diving off the cliff (wasn't expecting that), the classic WW bullets and bracelets, the shot of the sword on its own...

Love seeing her interaction with Etta Candy, that's classic early WW comics feel.

Interesting to see that it looks to be Dr. Poison. Looks to be a messed up character doing main villain's (Danny Huston's) bidding.

Off to go watch it again.
I think Danny Huston might be Duke of Deception

So the horrible blue screen effects in Superman IV don't bother you then since you don't have a reference point in reality ;)

For the time, no they don't, probably in general they don't, no. I don't go to movies to look for a 100% accurate portrayal of what I think something may look like in real life. Since I have no clue how it would look I entertain multiple interpretations or attempts

Really? Don't go there.

They never said this version of Wonder Woman doesn't fly. Patty even went out of her way to avoid answering a question about WW flying. She literally changed the subject when asked at SDCC. In this new trailer she leaps up from the rock/piece of earth floating and then she has to float to absorb that blast. I'd say she is in the stages of flying, she can at least levitate.

Indeed. It looks like she is working at the museum and Bruce sent her a printed version of that photo. Probably as a way to remind her of her days as a hero and get her to join him in tracking down the metahumans for Justice League.

Also, it seems they'll be skipping the Amazonian contest:

I expected them to do so.

Themyscira looks downright beautiful :hmr:

Anyone got a gif of that shot of Themyscira?

That was a great trailer... I'm actually really excited for the movie now.

One question... Do we know who the girl with the mask is?
