That was a great trailer... I'm actually really excited for the movie now.

One question... Do we know who the girl with the mask is?

The rumor is that she is Doctor Poison.

Damn, I didn't realize she was blocking the sword strike in that last GIF.

I am glad Patty is embracing slo-mo. I think Snyder doesn't do it enough in DCEU considering he is the king of slo mo shots.

I like the accent there, her English feels appropriately neutral. Don't know if the trailer is the best place to gauge her acting range when it mostly involves action posing and earnest lines. She at least ranks higher than Cavill for now, imo.

I'll breath a sigh of relief if Ms. Gadot achieves Cavills "decent but nothing to write home about" level of acting. The fact is BOTH actors were chosen primarily for their looks. Late in the day to be complaining about it I guess. And it's not like the director had any say in her lead actor.

I still have hope for this being a cut above what we have seen so far from the DCEU, mainly because of supporting cast and director.

That kick shot is pretty cool. She simultaneously knocks the sword out of the guy's hand.

I like slow motion, she is supposed to be faster than a regular human being and it's the only way to be able to see her fighting moves properly.

Well, Snyder does this as well... so she's sadly just following the cart off of the cliff.
Batman warehouse brawl doesn't have any slow motion. Batman chase doesn't either. Batman vs Superman doesn't have it (except for 1 sequence, I think). But older works - yes. 300, for example. But I feel at that time it was still fresh and in demand. If anything, Snyder uses slo-mo in non-action sequences mostly.

Man of steel and BvS didn't have one slo mo shot or close ups.

The death of Bruce's parents, Bruce falling down the hole, and some parts of Superman's funeral were slo mo.

Yeah he only used slo mo for tragic flashback/funeral scenes thus far.

Still waiting for the day until he uses it for an action scene. Imagine 300 side scrolling slo mo shot for Justice League.

What's with all the slo-mo complaints all of a sudden? From my memory, there was practically no slo-mo in MoS or BvS, and I remember people actually said they want some slo-mo to show off Superman's speed during fights. Honestly, this forum flip flops more than a presidential candidate sometimes.

I think the Flash in Justice League will get plenty of slo mo shots.

Great trailer, I just loved it. My only complaint was I didn't like the music that much. To me the music didn't always bring the energy of some scenes shown.

The forum is not a hive-mind. Some want slo-mo, some don't.

We are gonna see one of the most iconic Superheroes for the first time on film and people here are complaining about slow-mo.Is this place always like this?

Yeah, because there's nothing better than blind adoration, right?

Only when it comes to DC. :oldrazz:

It'll be nuts to see the actress from the very pornish Room in Rome in a WW film, heh.
