I mean yeesh is it honestly that hard to get a female superhero film of the ground?! It's Wonder Woman for Zod sakes!

This is just how WB does things. Nolan's secret legacy lives on. Also, if the second unit is actually filming, why would the paparazzi know? They don't film with the main cast and we don't know where exactly the second unit might be filming anyway.

I do find it odd that none of the so called ''scoopers'' have been silent about this. The only one who seems to know anything is the guy from Variety.

One month before shooting? We pretty much knew the entire main cast. Not even close in this case.

We knew more at this point when it comes to BvS. Much more. And I also think that we had some substantial info for "Suicide Squad" as well at this point in time.

Of course, this by itself doesn't mean much, every film is different... still, one can't help, but start to worry.

Compare the information we had one month prior to BvS and SS's start dates to the information we have on this movie and the difference is night and day.

We have Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot officially confirmed by the studio, Chris Pine confirmed by the trades, location scouting and extra casting reported by a couple of off-hand sources, and that's it.

No news of a concrete production start date, no physical evidence of second-unit shooting, no casting announcements to round out the main cast. Hell, have we even heard a single word from Jenkins?

Point me to one other WB production where they withheld this much information one month before the movie's supposed to start shooting. I sure as hell can't think of one.

If they drop a press release on us within the next couple of weeks, great! I want to have to eat my words here. But I've been on these boards for over a decade, and have closely followed the productions of many films - including those by Christopher "The Master of Secrets" Nolan. For a production that is surely meant to be one of their tentpole releases for 2017, the lack of news and clear movement here is unusual.

I hope to God Pan's box-office implosion isn't giving WB pause, considering that this movie is being written by the same screenwriter.
