Having stepped outside his comfort zone with last year's psychological horror flick "The Skin I Live In," Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar is now looking at another voyage into the unfamiliar - he's planning on helming a sci-fi movie.
Almodovar revealed at a BAFTA lecture on Sunday in London that: "I am still young enough to make a science fiction movie. I have ideas for this genre. The way I would like to do it is present something impossible in a real, domestic way. One of the scripts on my desk is of that genre, so I hope to make that."
He added that he doesn't know when that will be, but cited 1950's sci-fi pics like the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" as having a big inspiration on him.
