Has anyone seen this flick from the director of Blair Witch Project?

I have to say, I was really surprised by this....I brought it on a blind buy. It's a sci fi movie with a neat twist....a group of friends who were all abducted by aliens decide its pay back time and decide to go grab an alien in revenge. However, one of the friends realises that if anything happens to the alien it could be lights out for humanity.

I thought this was extremely well done. Acting, script, effects were all incredible for such a low budget feature. I'm surprised it didn't get a theatrical release, but hopefully it will gain a cult following on dvd. It deserves it.

It's also mostly well placed, even though it tends to drag just a tiny bit in the middle. Not everything is dealt with satisfactorily and leaves some questions, but for the most part this was a pleasant early surprise to 2007.

No one else has seen this?

For shame people. For shame.

This movie sucked. From those country bumpkins to the alien itself this sucked, don't watch it.

Rent it and see for yourself.

It's gotten mostly damn good reviews though (bloody disgusting gave it four out of five.)

I loved it personally. It's a cool little sci fi flick.

Keep in mind the above poster is still waiting for POTC3 even though 2 was a mostly plotless mess.

It's sounds interesting...but the negative remarks also make me skeptical of the horrible feel of modern movies.

Most movies today are like an American Eagles photoshoot that goes bad. :(

:hyper: I just saw the preview. I think I'm going to go find this one.

Finally saw it. Loved the premise, but didn't really give a damn about any of the characters. Some of the horror elements were well done though.

All in all, I'd say it was entertaining, but ultimately forgettable. Nothing compared to The Blair Witch Project.

6/10.
