Alternative X-MEN Actors.

I was going mostly by outer looks, since the ugly thing playing Rogue now is soooo far from what Rogue really looks like. I haven't seen Kate in more than 2 movies so I don't know how she is exactly with acting. Scarlett I can't picture as Rogue. Can someone manipulate a pic of her so she looks like Rogue(like that person did with Mandy Moore?), then I'll give you an answer.

Rogue was supposed to be a teenager when she joined the team, that's one thing the movies did get right about her. Kate Beckinsale is overrated in every department including especially looks. She dolls herself up with a ton of hair and makeup specialists and has "enhanced" herself with the worst pair of implants outside of a turnpike strip club, but that doesn't make her a true beauty. She's got that ape space between her nose and lip, boring-ass plain eyes, rabbit teeth, and unspectacular overall body shape and skin.

I still say Vivica A Fox for Storm. I'd have liked to have seen Ashley Judd as Rogue. I think Dougray Scott is probably kicking himself for rejecting Wolvie, but I also think Eric Bana would have been good.

he didn't reject it. he injured himself while shooting Mission Impossible 2 and was unable to finish it in time to make X-Men. he sure would've been better than Jackman, IMO.

never thought about Bana. he would've been cool. he was pretty damn badass in Troy (actually, he was the only good thing in that movie...)

I remember being pretty psyched when I heard Summer Glau was trying out for the part of Kitty.

Still, Ellen Page looks like she's done a good job (based on the clips from the previews), so I can't complain yet. Summer may also have been too old for the part.

I agree with Vartan as Cyclops. And Johansson as Rogue is an interesting idea.

Wolverine- Michael Wincott

Magneto- Terrence Stamp

terrence_stamp,0.jpg

Sabretooth: Vladimir Kulich or Tripple H.
Wolverine: A younger Joe Peci or Robert DeNiro--they both fit the character in different ways. Or John Stamos (sorry!).
Apocalypse: Michael Clarke Duncan, or the big black guy from Anger Management and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.
Mr. Sinister: Johnny Depp or Michael Wincott--preferably Depp.

Uma Thurman doesn't have the... umm.. chest (and by chest I mean ****, 'kay?) to be Emma. I vote Jolene Blalocke.

Cyclops- Barry Pepper
Jean Grey- Rachel Weisz
Wolverine- Mel Gibson or Gary Sinise
Professor X- Christopher Walken
Storm- Angela Basset
Rogue- Mandy Moore
Iceman- Ryan Reynolds
Angel- Ryan Phillippe
Beast- Jon Favreau
Nightcrawler- Jake Gyllenhaal

Magneto- Rutger Haur
Mystique- Salma Hayek (comic book costume)
Sabertooth- Clancy Brown
Toad- D.J. Qualls
Lady Deathstrike- Lucy Lui (comic book costume)
Pyro- Matthew Lillard

director- James Cameron

Wolverine- Dougray Scott

Yeah, Halle was never Singer's first choice as Storm. I heard Angela was offered the role, but she turned it down....Oh well!!:(

Nona Gaye was the actress for the Matrix sequels:

She's 5'11, like Storm is, and she's a good actress!!!

WOW! she's gorgeous.
I think she's have made an excellent storm.

As much as I sort of loathe Ryan Reynolds, he would have made a better Iceman than Ashmore. And his body was insane in Blade 3! Not that that helps his acting, but still... I will give him props for that.

Is Nona Gaye a good actress? I've never seen her before.

I've actually heard this comment before, but as far as the natural cleavage is concerned, hers are quite nicely sized. :D

I used to have a thing for Jolene, but I now find implants to be rather unfavorable. :down

I always thought a young Clint Eastwood would've been perfect for Logan (well, except for the height).

Nona Gaye would've made a great Storm. Of course, if they went older, Angela Bassett would've been fine too.

And ever since I started watching Alias, I also thought Michael Vartan would make a good Cyclops.

who is jolene?
I agree with everything else completely.

Alexis Denisof as Cyclops? If Jimmy couldn't come back for any further installments.

Tricia Helfer definitely has the *ahem* goods to play Emma Frost

yep and shes canadian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!did u know anna paquin is canadian?

you guys seem to just be listing a bunch of hot people... i dont see resemblence in most of these last couple... the first couple were good stuff, but now... im confused as to why these are even considered....

favorite still is Emmy Rossum for Shadowcat!

Hullo, first post here, though I've been following X-Men message boards all over for a while :xmen: .

I've always wondered what it would have been like if we were able to cast the X-Men the way we wanted. I like a lot of the suggested actors you guys have posted, and was pleasantly surprised (as in "Hey, why not?") at some choices - like Rutger Hauer or Daniel Day-Lewis as Magneto, for instance.

My personal beef, however, is with Storm. Halle Berry is objectively an attractive woman, but imho she was all wrong for the part.

We've gotten all the way to X-3 and my grouse is that I still have to see her onscreen mangling one of my favorite X-Men characters of all time.

Oh, well...maybe in one of the multiverses...like below:
