When I first saw the solicits for 24/7, I was afraid they were going to do another "I am the Spider" storyline. I'm really glad they came up with a more lighthearted premise.

What bugs the crap out of me is that for an editorial team obsessed with Peter's appearance of yuothfulness, they've spent far too much time focusing on getting Aunt May laid. She's had a more active sex life than Peter. YUCK.

Why is it "YUCK" for an old person to have sex? She's a human being with cravings, just like you.

Besides if Peter's supposed to be the everyday loser they're trying to make him out to be, then it makes perfect sense for his geriatric Aunt to be getting action while he's left out in the cold.

Humans also use the bathroom yet these things don't find their way onto the comic page either. There are volumes of more interesting things that could and should be focused on in the pages of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN than May Parker's sex life. They couldn't think of anything to do with Peter's marriage, but May's playing hide-the-shrivaled salami is supposed to be a step up in story telling?

Besides if Peter's supposed to be the everyday loser they're trying to make him out to be, then it makes perfect sense for his geriatric Aunt to be getting action while he's left out in the cold.

While I don't agree with the idea of One-tracking Peter to be a loser or winnier (That's why his stories get stagnant and they have to reboot the series every few years) IF this is the approach-then how about actually focusing on Peter. You'd actually have a point if the in the three years worth of comics produced in the last year really focused on Peter. But they haven't. There's been more movement in the lives of his supporting cast than his own.

It seems that Marvel wanted to spot light the supporting cast as a way of both taking the readers attention away from Peter's personal life as well as easing people back into Peter's personal life as a single person.Aunt May's courtship with JJJ Sr. creates a dynamic like no other in the life of Peter Parker.If the two actually do get married, Peter gets to have a home to go to with an Aunt May who is very happy with life and the first new relative in his life since the death of Uncle Ben.It's going to be very interesting to see who attends this wedding. I can't think of any appearances of other Parker or Reily family.Just think Peter and JJJ are going to be RELATEDWasn't Mattie Franklin( Spider-Woman III) also related to JJJ?
