Well, I guess we have a good idea who is getting married.

Because based on what happens at the end...well, looks like Pete's never going to see his Aunt May the same way ever again and will be scared for life. Bring out the sick bags!

Don't ever look at the end reveal of this issue. lol

ps can a mod change the thread title to something like "Amazing Spider-Man 24/7 (issue 592-594)" we should just do that for all arc discussions threads.

That's only because he is right now intentionally blinding himself.

Better yet, change it to "The Official Aunt May is a 'Ho Thread"

alternatively, "Poll: Is JJJ Sr a playa?"

Nah she'd only be a Hoe if there were like 3 guys in that bed.

notice how I believe 1 girl 2 guys is ok, but 3 isn't.

5 words that will ruin everyone's appetite today:

Two Aunt Mays, One Cup.

Maybe if Aunt May puts on Pete's Spidey mask, looks at Pete, and then willingly takes it all off again....all his memories will suddenly disappear as to what he saw??

(thanks to the Devil AND the new bonus "Mystery Wiper") ????!!!!

:oldrazz: ((that was especially for you Clonesy))

Wow. The last two issues had endings that I didn't see coming. Especially #592.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny. I love the whole rationale for the 24/7 plan, to annoy JJJ, haha, pretty simple really.

You know what else this means? Conclusive proof that Aunt May no longer has a weak heart. :oldrazz:

When I first saw the solicits for 24/7, I was afraid they were going to do another "I am the Spider" storyline. I'm really glad they came up with a more lighthearted premise.

What bugs the crap out of me is that for an editorial team obsessed with Peter's appearance of yuothfulness, they've spent far too much time focusing on getting Aunt May laid. She's had a more active sex life than Peter. YUCK.

Why is it "YUCK" for an old person to have sex? She's a human being with cravings, just like you.

Besides if Peter's supposed to be the everyday loser they're trying to make him out to be, then it makes perfect sense for his geriatric Aunt to be getting action while he's left out in the cold.

Humans also use the bathroom yet these things don't find their way onto the comic page either. There are volumes of more interesting things that could and should be focused on in the pages of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN than May Parker's sex life. They couldn't think of anything to do with Peter's marriage, but May's playing hide-the-shrivaled salami is supposed to be a step up in story telling?

While I don't agree with the idea of One-tracking Peter to be a loser or winnier (That's why his stories get stagnant and they have to reboot the series every few years) IF this is the approach-then how about actually focusing on Peter. You'd actually have a point if the in the three years worth of comics produced in the last year really focused on Peter. But they haven't. There's been more movement in the lives of his supporting cast than his own.

Well, consiedering that most of the new supporting cast has become a villian, super of otherwise, in the stories, I guess we can assume that JJ SR will soon become the Wrinkled Prune-colored Goblin! :wow:

I don't think the main point of that last panel was simply Aunt May getting her goodies, but the fact that she's getting them from JJJ's father...

LOL... :woot: :woot: :woot:

:yay:

And would Aunt May become the Knob Goblin? :p

...am I allowed to say that here? :word:

Well we've already got Preggo-Goblin and soon Baby-Goblin, so why not Geriatric Goblin?

Aloha,
It seems that Marvel wanted to spot light the supporting cast as a way of both taking the readers attention away from Peter's personal life as well as easing people back into Peter's personal life as a single person.Aunt May's courtship with JJJ Sr. creates a dynamic like no other in the life of Peter Parker. If the two actually do get married, Peter gets to have a home to go to with an Aunt May who is very happy with life and the first new relative in his life since the death of Uncle Ben.It's going to be very interesting to see who attends this wedding. I can't think of any appearances of other Parker or Reily family.Just think Peter and JJJ are going to be RELATED:wow:Wasn't Mattie Franklin( Spider-Woman III) also related to JJJ?
