The thing is it's still Rogen doing his usual Rogen schtick, he's just dialed it down some.Rogen could have worked for the role. Comedians are perfect for superhero movies if they know what they are doing. Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito are good examples. This is obviously not the case with The Green Hornet.
It looks fun, slick, witty. Does it need to be Dark Knight-ified? No. I'd bet the trailer is just capitalizing on what the audience expects of Rogen, which still isn't bad. It'll probably be more serious than we expect. But dang, that fighting looks goooood.
the GH seems almost incompetent incomparison to Kato
It looks like a super hero comedy/parody with Seth Rogen, not really Green Hornet.
