And the one to replace Bob Barker on the Price Is Right...

Drew Carey is a very funny guy, it should go well.

Dang, I would have chosen John O'Hurley.

ditto.
I liked Drew's show in the beginning, before it jumped the shark (big time). I just don't see him molding with this show, don't know why exactly

who even watches the show? Most of you guys are at school or work when it airs.

seriously? I like Bob and all, but I can't imagine the show being Tivo-worthy.:o

I have never Tivo'd The Price Is Right, and have no desire to start......

Eh. Not too bad. The new host would have to be someone at least mildly entertaining, and overall inoffensive to old ladies. He'll do fine, so long as he doesn't add sketch or improv comedy.

That is what I am thinking.

I mean I can't imagine being at work. Not able to concentrate, because I am desperately wondering if the fat lady bid to low, or high on laundry detergent.

I'm going to expect SOME improv on his part..

At least they picked someone who'd embrace the Barker Beauties.

Pretty good choice.

Never seen the D.C. Show, but I was a fan of Whose Line Is It Anyway, and he was a great host on the show. Knows how to work an audience too.

Same. The host should be charming, but not show stealing. He should be presence, but not dominate. That is what made Bob Barker such a great host. He was never the focus. The games and prizes were. O'Hurley shared many of these qualities. Carey will try too hard to be funny and it will destroy the show.
