I don't think this will happen has actors don't normaly win for movies like this but I really think Andrew should be consider I don't think any one can play spider man and peter has while has he does. Does any one think that he should be consider for an Oscars?

He had one of the best CBM performances ever... But no, not Oscar worthy. It's gonna be a long time before we see a CBM win an oscar in something other than best visual effects..

Garfiled?

Absolutely he should be. Right up there with Daniel Day Lewis, Jack Nicholson, and Christopher Waltz.

This has to be a joke thread.

Honestly any of the other actors would be ahead of him. Paul Giamatti hammed it up hilariously. Jamie Foxx did very, very well with some pretty bad material. Dane DeHaan chewed the scenery fairly well, though he didn't quite do it for me. Even Emma Stone was better than Garfield and I despised the entire plot thread involving those two.

The eerie parallels to the Man of Steel boards continue. So now I'm wondering, when the Oscars have come and gone and this movie doesn't get so much as a visual effects nod (which it won't; sound familiar?), Will there be an uproar about this movie getting "snubbed"?

I actually want this to be a poll; the results would be amusing if nothing else.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves. Not yet I think in 20 years he will be up there but not yet.

Garfield was good, but Oscar worthy? Absolutely not. Not even close to being worthy of one.

This is where I would say welcome to the Hype, but you've been here as long as I have. :woot:

Been absent a bit, so I'm rusty.

Anyway, Paul Giamatti should win the Oscar for this movie, because his ten minutes was the only thing I really enjoyed about it.

Anybody else want this to be a poll? Gotta add a serious tag to the title though. :word:
