My roommate just bought a PS3, so now I'm going shopping for blu-rays. :word:

Has anyone seen this movie on BR? Is that "awesome" :whatever: Sunny Delight ad in it like on the DVD?

I was just coming on this board to ask the same question. I just bought it on HD-dvd from ebay. All i can tell you is that it is stunningly sharp on HD-dvd. Now I want to get it on Blu-Ray and compare. I really think we are getting shafted by Blu-Ray. Its just not as high quality as HD-dvd. The only reason BR won out over HD-dvd is that they had a wider selection of newer movies than HD-dvd did. Other than that...HD-DVD is clearly the superior tech.
So is there any plans to release Hulk 2003 on BR?

I got the blu-ray 'Hulk' the other week, it's funny because whereas I found the blu-ray TIH cgi to look even better than on standard dvd, it was the opposite way with Hulk, it's flaws and 'fakeness' where alot more apparent, still good movie though.

Any special features worth mentioning? Trailers maybe?

So is Hulk 2003 out on Blu-Ray then? I havent seen it at BestBuy?

I bought a high-def TV and Bu-ray player a few weeks ago (mainly in preparation for The Dark Knight. Those IMAX scenes will simply knock you on your rear!) I have The Incredible Hulk on Blu-Ray and the detail is amazing. However, more detail can sometimes detract from how realistic it looks. Out of curiosity I took my DVD of Hulk and popped it in. Because of the HDMI connection, the Blu-ray player will upconvert even your DVD movies to almost high-def quality. Well, I was stunned! It looked incredible...and again, this was the DVD! The scene where Hulk leans into the camera to growl at Talbot looks like you could reach out and touch him. It honestly looks more realistic than my Blu-Ray of TIH. I can only imagine what the Blu-Ray version of Hulk looks like! It really makes it hard to understand why people slandered the animation so much in this film.
So my question is how good does the Blu-Ray version of this film look, and are there any features not on the original DVD that are on the Blu-Ray? i told myself that I wouldn't fall into the trap of upgrading my library, but for this one I might make an exception.

I believe you are mis-informed. BR can hold like 40% more information than HD. That means better video and better sound. Information on a BR disc is less compressed than HD, thus better picture and better sound. In terms of format, the pecking order is SD-HD-BR. Now, can we see and hear a difference between the two formats? I have a BR player and there is an exceptional difference between BR and SD. I have not seen HD, so I can't compare. I also thought that Warner Bros. eventually endorsed BR and that is the reason why BR won the format war?
