It's funny I felt the same way so I went back to her IMDB page. Her acting credits have been pretty sparse since 2010. Might have something to do with kids. But having said that, looking back on her films, they're not great which is odd to me given her rabid fandom and following.

I think she was just blonde as a child; i.e., her hair got darker as she grew older. This is a natural and also fairly common occurrence.

Her best work is Changeling! And I definitely prefer as as Tomb Raider compare to the other one.

If that's your standard to what makes a movie "good", enjoy them.

But to me they aren't even on a level of ironic enjoyment. They are just bad, built exclusively on Jolie's sex symbol status at the time but not well done enough to be genuinely well done action adventures but also not a camp fun time either. Just dull and drab exercises in milking horny video gaming teens out of their money during a time before online porn was as readily available as it is today.
