Plot: "In the Land of Blood & Honey" is set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War in the '90s. This bold new film illustrates the consequences of the lack of political will to intervene in a society stricken with conflict.

"In the Land of Blood & Honey" features a completely local cast, most of whom were children of the war. The film was simultaneously shot in English and their native language. During the time of the war the language spoken was Serbo-Croatian and is now referred to as BHS.

I'm not surprised. Love her or hate her, Jolie is tough and driven. She spends a lot of time and care working on projects that are meaningful to her.

Yeah I think she really threw herself into it in a serious way rather than how most do it which is it would be fun to do. She really seems to have a vision. Obviously I can't tell if it will be good by just the trailer but it seems like it might be a good film.

i think there are better ways of finding out about bosnian war that watching a movie directed by a hollywood actress.
i mean how much can she know about what really happened in the balkan war. she wasnt there.
someone needs to do a lot of research, because a lot of things happened and there are many different versions of what really happened. the real art is to know what to believe and what not to believe.
