Ahh yeah.

Personally Id recast both roles and throw Jackman and Jolie together.

Though if they stick with Hanks, which Im sure they will, Belluci.

Anyone but thinks if Hanks doesn't return maybe Russell Crowe should replace Landon. He is another Ron Howard buddy. I mean if Hanks doesn't then maybe Crowe should eb in the prequel book. Victtoria should be played by Selma Heyak. Kohler Patrick Stewart or maybe Ian McKellen as a differant character. Anthoney Hopkins or John Hurt would be good too.

I pictured Monica Bellucci when reading Angels & Demons. I would love to see a big screen adaptation although I'd be slightly worried after Da Vinci Code wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

Well i think Angels and Demons would be easier to put onto a film version. The Da Vinci Code is very complex. And i think that is most peoples trouble.

I wonder if they'll promote it as a prequel or not? The religious talk has already been done in the DVC movie with Sophie, but it's with Vittoria in a helicopter in A&D, although it played to different terms. Also, the claustrophobic angle could've been used to greater effect in the A&D movie when Langdon gets caught in/under a stone coffin.

If I were them, it'd make it a pseudosequel. Kind of like how every James Bond movie or Mission: Impossible movie "fits" together.

I watched DVC. Loved it. Then I picked up the book. It covered a lot of base and elucidated more than the movie was allowed due to time constraints but, all in all, I enjoyed the movie a lot more than I did the book.

So, going back to this Angels and Demons, should I pick the book up or wait for the movie first?

It will be intresting to see how this film will do in the box office.

I don't think will be as huge as DVC. The other books Brown written hasn't been the same super mega bestseller as DVC. And they also lack the "controversial"-factor of DVC.

Pick up the book. It's only a $5 paperback. And you get one hell of a read. One that's better than DVC in my opinion.
