    I actually support the use of leather, based on the fact that the cattle are slaughtered and eaten anyways and it would be a waste not to put that leather to use.

    I like cute creatures of our beautiful mother nature... specially the wee small little ones with their cute as button eyes and noses that makes you want to hug them forever...







    those are the tastier ones:)

    I'm sorry, I didn't know you had an emotional attachment to each and every one of those animals as one would have for their pets. :rolleyes:

    wouldn't bother me, don't have a dog or cat :p and using a dog or cat isn't the best way to make a good pair of gloves

    I don't care about all this crap. For humans to kill them and eat them/ wear them as clothing is the natural way of life. Nothing like a nice looking leather jacket.

    on a more serious note, killing an animal for anything other than survival (eating, self-defense, sleeping inside a camal in the desert night to get warm, ect) is wrong IMO

    My thoughts exactly. just harvesting fur I frown on, but being wholistic about the animal products we DO use I think is just plain responsible consumer behavior, really.

    jeez. i live two miles away from the PETA world headquarters, and i'm always having to put up with stupid crap like this..... just let it GO, people. enough is enough, i'll introduce you to my leather boot if you don't make it stop!!

    I don't wear fur, but leather and wool... they're necessary in life. Okay, maybe wool isn't.

    See, I agree there, but you can't just use that very personal, "cat and dog," argument because it's quite simply baseless.

    For animals that we slaughter for food (whose treatment, by the way, I strongly disagree with) I think it is very good that we utilize the whole animal...including leather.

    However, I wouldn't agree with killing an animal for only its leather or fur.

    did you know that in mexico we use every single thing of the cow?

    Fur, bones, brains, guts, meat, eyes(Oh, my, they taste good:o)...

    Whoever you are, I, for one, understand your sentiments. I'm not a vegitarian, but I've seen animals slaughtered and I"m seriously considering becoming one.
