Animated Batman Movies

Hey guys just a quick question.

I haven't watched any of the Animated Batman movies at all... I know, I know I'm an idiot.

So anyway I am thinking of starting and was wanting your opinion on where is a good place to start?

Any recommendations?

Just sat down to watch Phantasm now. So far so good.

Ok so I have now watched Phantasm and Under The Red Hood.

Both really good.

The Dark Knight Returns will be next in my list. Tomorrow probably.

Oh and once you get past Batman solo movies I loved Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Justice League: Doom.

Along with al of the others mentioned, I would also recommend "Batman Beyond : The Return of the Joker"
I don't know if you can still get the original version , but just make sure you get the uncensored /unedited one.

Mask of the Phantasm is the standout. Return of the Joker is second for me. And yes, definitely get the legit, uncensored version. I also really enjoy the three episodes which they joined to create the World's Finest animated movie.

With the adaptions, TDK Returns is my pick. Really enjoyed it. UTRD is also a winner. I didn't really warm to the animated Year One.

Thanks for the help guys. I am going to grab The Dark Knight returns today so will be watching that tonight.

Really, all of the animated Batman movies are fantastic. Well, aside from Mystery of the Batwoman, which I did enjoy, but felt underwhelming compared to the others.
