Animation Software

Hi, Im interested in trying my hand at anmation, and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good piece of software for it. Also, could it either be free, or have a free trial on the internet.

3D Animation? 2D? Well, if it's 3D then you'll want 3DS Max or Maya. Those are pretty much the standard for 3D animators for modeling. A program like Poser would streamline the entire process. For 2D you'd probably want Illustrator. And for texturing clothes and skin and stuff you'll need Photoshop. Since I'm not sure such a thing is allowed on this forum, PM me and I'll show you how to get some software.
