Basically I'm asking ...

What soundtracks are better than it's anime that it's attached to ?

For example ...

Eureka 7. It's a good anime series. But I find it's soundtrack to be 10 times better than it.

Get it ?

Brain Powered
Escaflowne: the Movie
FF: Unlimited

Heh, this is a perfect thread for Fooly Fooly.
The Pillows did the music
FLCL wasn't originaly supposed to be an anime that's why i love it so much.
The music usually fits with the show ( that's mostly with every anime though)

... I can't say that I've ever experienced that, but I have found anime that the soundtrack is so spot on with the series that it makes it ten times better.

I.e.: Gravitation, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, Samurai Champloo.

Oh man, I met the Pillows a couple years ago, it was awesome

I like .hack//SIGN's music, it didn't make the show totally boring, but still an enjoyable series lol

YOU met The Pillows!?!!? Dang..
Where? Did you go to Japan or something. Or.. Live in Japan.. LOL

Yup i'd have to agree .Hack//Sign has great music. I think some of it was done instrumental instead of on a computer.
I know that a good amount of the Rurouni Kenshin dongs were done instrumental. They were good too BTW LOLz.

:ninja:

Yeah, they came to Anime Central to perform and I got their autograph. I had each member sign an FLCL dvd. Aside from an incident I had with a staff member, it was good.

The .hack's vocals are also pretty cool. Yuki Kajiura does some nice work in Mai HiMe too.
I'm sure Rurouni Kenshin's were instrumental; like the electric guitar and flute sounds lol

inuyasha, i didnt like the show much, but i do have the soundtrack somewhere.
