Anne slotted in just below Michelle for me... as expected.

God I loved her in this. The opening scene was great.

Anne is my number one, in and out of Catsuit so it's expected she's my favourite. Michelle and Julie are my other favourites.

I dont think you can compare Anne to Michelle, just like you can't compare Heath to Jack.

2 totally different type of portrayals of the character. But both done very well.

It might be a long shot but I hope we get a new Catwoman spin-off connected with Nolan's saga. A TDKR prequel with her would be great if done right.

I've never been a fan of Anne Hathaway. I don't find her face attractive, and she seems like one of those annoying theater kids in real life.
However, I respected her as a credible actress, and she acted the hell out of her role in dkr.
I can't compare her to other Catwomen because its comparing apples to oranges. Anne would have been wrong for BR, and Pfeiffer would have been wrong for dkr. But Anne was PERFECT for this Catwoman. But the true measure of her acting is whether or not you can picture another actor delivering a similar role. I can't. She has instantly become as iconic in her role as Heath Ledger did (yeah I went there).

A Catwoman spinoff i would be down with. Produced by Nolan, set in Europe. Doesn't need to have Bruce in it. Would see that in a second.

Despite not being faithful to the comics exactly... I feel Michelle's version allowed her to do more and showcased her acting better, you know what I mean?

But ultimately they are so different. They are both the pinnicle of Catwoman on screen.

Do I think Anne's Catwoman is going to be as iconic as Michelle's Catwoman? No i truly don't but I'm really glad to have a more comic inspired Catwoman.

Now I get to pick based on mood. :woot:

Nolan has said he's totally done with this world of characters and all of DC. MoS will be the last DC property he is involved with and I'm just not sure I'd want to see a Catwoman spin-off without his involvement.:csad:

Not to mention if it takes place in Gotham then we'll all want cameos from characters like Bruce Wayne, Gordon, etc.

Which is why it'd have to be written by someone who works closely with Nolan and even has his approval. If Nolan approved the script I'd feel comfortable, because even if he isn't directing it the script at least was looked at by him and approved to be canon with his saga.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jonathan Nolan maybe finally break away and direct/write a Catwoman spinoff.

I will give Nolan credit, he did give an accurate portrayal of Selina Kyle with pretty much no reality grounding. Hathaway should get some kind of nod for this.

I really feel like getting in contact with Anne somehow and telling her how much I loved her performance and how she well and truly lived up to the Batman/Catwoman legacy after people were giving her and the costume a hard time. She was so good. :hrt:

ANNE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She blew me away. Every single thing I expected from her performance, we got it. She also looked ****in' gorgeous... in and out of costume.

We have finally got a definitive version of Catwoman on screen, imo. Thank you Anne Hathaway, Christoper Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and David Goyer for making a fanboy's dream come true after waiting for a very, very long time.

And it was also a dream ending for any fan that has always
wanted to see Bruce and Selina settle down together.

I would of liked to have seen how Selina is connected to [BLACKOUT]Bane, she helps trap Batman in the sewer with Bane, but we never actually see any interaction between the two of them.[/BLACKOUT]

I think it was just that one instance [BLACKOUT] where she was fighting his thugs, more or less becoming another obstacle for him.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]They weren't exactly allies. She trapped Batman solely because she wanted Bane to get off her back.[/BLACKOUT]
