I was planning on purchasing the Under the Hood story arc when I came across Batman Annual #25. Is this the same story as it is in the two graphic novels? Is it condensed? Which is reccomended? I ask only because I'd rather buy one issue instead of two

I''ve always wondered if there was a difference between the arc in graphic novels compared to the annual. Thanks in advance to any one who is of help

I have the individual Batman Annual #25, I don't know what exactly what Under The Hood reprints, sorry.

The Batman Annual #25 explains how and why Jason is back in Bruce's life. The whole issue is pretty much a bunch of flashbacks that take place before Under the Hood. They are not the same story but they compliment each other.

yeah i read that expecting to see JT as RH, but nothing. that story basically sucked.

I think Annual #25 is collected in one of the Under the Hood volumes anyway, so go for the GN(s).

I rarely purchase annuals. Graphic Novels all the way.
