Anyone else get these annoying freaking calls about their car's warranty about to go out?

I've tore at least three people new places to poop out, trying to get these jerks to stop calling me!:cmad:

Even worse is they do it on my cell phone!

Yup, I've gotten them for years. I used to get it when I had my 83 Toyota truck lol.

Yeah dude! I screen my calls (and usually when I'm at the office), so i never answer when they call, but they always leave voicemail on my cell phone. Sucks.

Auto insurance, housing loans, erectile disfunction. You name it, and I've probably gotten a call about it. It's when you yell at them that they tend to ease up on their attempts to contact you.

Some people have called me about VCast. I keep telling them that I don't want it.

Everyone should have a tape recorder by the phone. And whenever you get a call from a telemarketer you should play that sound from "Dumb and Dumber"
"Hey, want to hear the most annoying sound in the world? EEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Good times.

I constantly get data calls from these places, to my cell phone. I can't pick it up because it's "data" and it leaves the same recording on my machine every time. It's completely ridiculous.

This last one I got, I told him to take me off his list and that they're calling my cell phone. Nothing but silence... then he hung up...

At least this time when I called back I didn't get the ******** "this number is no longer available."

I get those calls a lot but they are robot calls. Does a human actually speak at some point?

Press 1 to speak to a "customer service representative"

Press 2 if you "no longer wish to receive...blah blah"

Two never worked, so I started pressing 1 and *****ing people out.

I had one call my 11 year-old daughter's cell phone once. When I told the woman who she had called and that she shouldn't call it again, she said she'd be sure to call again. The b**** actually got an attitude and said she would call a little girl's cell phone.

Usually calling the numbers back gets an automated system that asks you if you want your name to be removed from their lists and then it cuts off. My reccomendation is to spend a little bit of time online and find out who it is that provides their toll free number and call them and report them for abuse. They can also ensure that your phone isn't called anymore.

I've done this twice with two serapte phone numbers and it's worked both times for me.

I get these calls but I mean, when the ID caller says Warranty Sucs, should I really answer? :oldrazz:

I got one of these yesterday, it was an automated service so I just hung up
