what if michelle's wasp is the actual bad guy?

Why do people keep saying this?

Because of this guy:

People might be wary about the long-lost parent angle, but I think it's because they already did the "parent is a secret villain" thing in GOTG Vol. 2 that they won't have Janet be the villain. Bill Foster is a likelier candidate if they were to go the secret villain route but I don't think they're going to do that either.

I liked the trailer. Loved that Scott can go midsized. Loved Pena and his misfit crew are in it. Really characters like Pena is what's missing from other competing Cbm studios that set the Mcu apart. It just keeps everything grounded when the genre is of course based on the fantastical.

Yes I expect a plot twist as well with Fishburne's character

It makes sense. Ant-Man & Wasp are a team, so fighting a team of Ghost & Goliath makes sense. Especially if they have a "who can grow bigger" competition going.

A Giant fight would be great. 1st one had a shrunken battle.

"Drum playing ant is wearing the ankle bracelet to stand in for Scott."
:)

If the rumor about A4 being set 5 years later turns out to be true, and time works differently in the QR, could we see Scott returning to an older version of his daughter? (this time played by the actress that was recently cast as Cassie)

The trailer was great. The action looks great. The Giant-Man laugh was great to hear again.

I've also considered Janet being the real villain of the film. That she hasn't really been trapped and helpless inside the quantum realm but has instead been purposefully staying away from Hank and Hope and has been up to no good. Even if she has been trapped, who knows what kind of shape her mind is in. She could end up being mad as a hatter.

I feel like Marvel has done the relative who is a villain twist enough in recent films. After Ego, Hela and Killmonger I don't think we need another

Many people have been predicting Hank, Janet or Bill Foster being a secret villain which makes it not a very good twist. I doubt Marvel would make two of the characters that created the avengers in the comics and one of Marvel's earliest black characters a villain.

I prefer them just focusing on making Ghost and Sonny Burch really good villains.

One of the FBI guys is rumored to be a villain which would be a twist.

It doesnt make any sense for Hank to be a villain. It goes against his established character.

Flashback that has been reportedly cut? Guess we'll see

Yeah if they make Janet a villain I will officially give up on this franchise. Maybe. Not the MCU of course, just the Ant-Man movies. They've already disrespected her enough.

Anyway... I can't be the only one who almost screamed "Stature!" when little Cassie said that she wants to fight bad guys like her dad.

It's what Peter Quill sees when he's ingested A'askavariian mushrooms while listening to Nazareth.
Oh, that Quill. He really needs to stop doing things from A'askavariia.

If Fishburne is not a villain I think Pfeiffer will be

I just suspect Janet(Pfeiffer) suffer from the effects of being in the multiverse for the period she was in.

 She was only in the first film for less than 30 seconds and all she did was go subatomic to shut down a missile. How does that scene disrespect the character?

They cut the flashback in the first film too. Wtf, Reed. I want to see Hank in his prime in action. :argh:

Wait they had a flashback scene with Pym suited up? Why would they cut that? :(
