Paul Rudd. One of the most charismatic lead actors in the Mcu. One of those actors u can't believe is a Marvel superhero. Lol.

It's almost like he is channeling Ryan Reynold's Deadpool character.:woot: Rudd acting like an idiot amongst everybody else's seriousness really sticks out like a sore thumb.

This looks like a lot of fun. Really looking forward to it.

Could be a nice mid-summer action comedy, at the very least. Maybe with some surprises in store for the overall story.

To me Scott is just as funny as Wade Wilson if you ask me. Hell he is certainly a lot more funnier than Peter Quill or even Tony Stark for that matter. As far as Hope goes I can't wait to see her meet whatever is left of the Avengers. I know Hope she would fit in just fine with certain people like Black Widow, Cap, Thor, etc.

He has been one of my favorite comedians for a long time. He just always makes me laugh with his mannerisms and delivery. I love his "You guys are bonding breaking down barriers" line in the 1st movie.

Can't believe this movie is about a month away. Might be the blindest I have gone to an MCU movie. Besides watching the trailers I don't know what to expect.

It's interesting that Ant-Man and the Wasp are basically being handled as legacy characters.

I wonder if they will do that with other characters in the future. Might be a sort of test case, I guess.

How so?

Well, Hank and Janet were Ant-Man and the Wasp in the past, and now Scott and Hope are taking up the mantle, so to speak.

That's basically how legacy heroes tend to work in the comics. A descendant, relative or protégé takes up the mantle, and the original hero becomes a mentor.

This was supposed to come out exactly on my birthday here in the UK - July 6th.

However, for some reason it has been pushed back with a whole month - August 3rd...

Really hope I manage to avoid spoilers for 1 month.

The World Cup is the reason.

This Football thing ends mid July and we are getting it in the beginning of August, long after the spoilers and actual movie leak all over the web

Good thinking.

So tickets for the July 6th opening should start next week?

Can't believe it's only about a month away now. The wait between this and Captain Marvel will be a little rough though

I wam Nader f the post cred will tie into CM in some way?

Feels like an Infinity War tie-in post-credits is most likely, they just did the Captain Marvel teaser after that movie.

I'm thinking we might get a glimpse of something that sets the stage for A4, and Ant-Man's involvement there. But anything's possible.

Here is Paul Rudd recreating "The King of Wishful Thinking:

Maybe him trying to contact Cap or Hawkeye. Falcon is gone so that is the only other person he seemed close with.
