Yeah , was expecting a fair bit more.So this ended up making up $45 million less than the first film.
What a disappointment.
After these numbers and downward trend despite amping things up, I can’t see any more Ant Man movies anytime soon. But Scott and Cassie will probably make appearances or cameos in other films.I didn't like this... i can't say it's "bad," but I would put it next to MCU movies like Thor The Dark World and Iron Man 2. It does kind of feel like Marvel has a problem, most of their content after Endgame hasn't been great. (Imo)
Also, I wasn't a fan of Cassie. It's not the actor's fault, just seems like almost every MCU movie now has that same young female character in it. But her screaming "dad!" all the time was getting a bit annoying after a while.
I'm fine with it if we're not getting anymore Ant-Man movies.
I never thought Kang should have been the next "Thanos", at least not the way he is portrayed.
For a couple of films and TV shows? Sure, but not a Thanos level of a threat for over a dozen films.
I just don't see it.He doesn't feel very threatening to me.
Galactus should have been the next big bad.

Normally I'd say "stop it", but both sequels failed to recapture the inventiveness and the visuals of the first movie. If they can make another one that is smaller in scale (no pun intended), I say 'go for it'. But I highly doubt it since they've been heading into a very different direction. So does anyone here think Ant-Man should get another movie or should Ant-Man be retired as a franchise?

On one hand I think maybe bring in someone other than Peyton Reed might could do something. Just get some fresh eyes on it. Despite the next 2 movies, I think he's really overhated and the fact that he was able to land the plane when it came to the first movie. So does anyone here think Ant-Man should get another movie or should Ant-Man be retired as a franchise?
If they gave Edgar Wright a Hank Pym movie set in the 70's, that had no serious ties to any other MCU films, I'd go see it in theaters like 20 f***ing times
I just hate that we have to deal with years of this Multiverse BS. I'm f'n sick of multiverses now.
It's amazing how fast it became tiring.I just hate that we have to deal with years of this Multiverse BS. I'm f'n sick of multiverses now.
in the past I suggestedA young Michael Douglas look-alike? Uff that's a tough one.
gained that nearly ten years ago, they were lesser known and young at the time I suggested (I don't remember what I saw Philip in at the time that make me think of him, but, he's not really on the radar anymore) I'll stand by Teddy, tho, as a possible option...I kinda had someone like...
Philip Winchester,
or
Teddy Sears....
....type in mind, but, admittedly those are more based on looks, an I don't know enough about there acting to say they could really bring something to the role acting wise, so they would be more stunt casting (for lack of better word)
