any firestorm fans around?

He has so much potential that I don't feel many people have actually tapped into.

He used to look really cool before the revamp, and it's not a matter of being a white character versus any other nationality... his design just used to be far more impressive, at least to me.

I dug Firestrom back when I was a kid. He was on the super powers cartoon and in the toyline (a show/toyline I was obbsessed with) so all my good memoires of him come from that time.

He's good cannon fodder; getting blown up by magic swords and the like. Very heroic.

I like both Ronnie and Jason. I hope Firestorm sticks with the JLA. He could use the exposure.

loved the old costume if they wanted to make the character black they should have done so without changing his outfit. firestorm's costume is in my top 5 costume.

1. spider-man
2. superman
3. black panther
4. captain britain (red with gold lion)
5. firestorm

would love them to bring back firestorm with a kick ass writer and artist.

I like his new costume, myself. The glowing bits are pretty. :)

HELL YEAH!!
He's the supercalfrge.......... whatever that word Mary Poppins use to say something was da bomb! I loved Ronnie Raymond better, but Jason has kinda grown on me. Ronnie was like DC's Spidey/Nova where nothing ever went right for him. Man i have always Dug Stormy since his inception in the 70's. He's one of my top guys of all time.

Personally:
I feel they underpowerhim when they should overpower
him.

He should be able to LOOK at an object and change it's molecular makeup, When he creates something it should be "all at once".

I like that there's a more technical process to his powers. It makes Stein a valuable addition to the Firestorm matrix.

I like Jason actually, his solo series was rather good if not horifically under ordered.

Yeah, I picked it up a few months before it got canceled and it was solid. I wish I'd read it from the start, although I'm sure it would've still been canceled anyway.

personally like that raymond was bascially a forerunner to kyle (GL) in that he would create (change) objects into ridiculous objects like giant fans. the new firestorm was just making force blasts or very unimaginative objects.

thought he was cool and often thought underpowered. Although absolute power corrupts so it would be easier for me to see him as a decent guy trying to do whats right going bad. Now that would be a jLA sized villian.

I like Firestorm...I think there's a lot of potential for good stories, either solo or with a group. When the new series came out, I think I was only buying comics sporadically. Later on, when I was looking for more titles to pick up, I hesitated to jump on board with something so close to being canceled. I flipped thru a couple of issues at random one day, and didn't really see anything that made me want to buy.

I am a big Firestorm. He's my third favorite hero behind Superman and Flash. I was very disappointed when his book got canceled.

Did they settle the "dating-a-5-year-old-who-has-a-teenage-body" bit?

Actually a fan of both Jason and Ronnie (and even that clone/hybrid Firestorm from the 90's). Kind of wish that Dc would have had Jason and Ronnie having to merge together as Firestorm as it would have been inters]esting (if only to me:yay:) to see Ronnie grow into his "Professor Stein" role. Did like the idea that Jason could merge with virtually anyone and the consequences of that, though.
