I recently got into the television show Forever Knight, featuring 800 year old Vampire Nick Knight trying to redeem himself and do good for humanity by moonlighting as a Detective. While I will always prefer Joss Whedon's Angel, because it is my favorite show of all time, Forever Knight is pretty damn good, in my opinion. I didn't see a thread for it, so I thought I would add this one for any and all fans of the show.

Seriously, is "Private Detective" the only job option for good guy vampires? Hannibal King, Nick Knight, Angel, etc.?

Well, it does make full use of their natural talants. Enhanced senses and tracking skills lend themselves to detective work, and superhuman strength and nigh invulnerability make you able to hold your own in a fight.

I remember thinking it was an ok show but I haven't seen it in a while. Love the name NotFadeAway, Angel is one of my favorite shows.

I loved this show when I was younger. I remember, for me at least, that it would come on Friday Nights at Midnight.

This show was really good considering it's budget and it's no name actors. I loved the flashbacks, but preferred episodes that were current. I'm just glad they put it on DVD.

A fun fact. The woman who voiced Jean Grey in the X-Men series was Nicks close friend/Partner.

This show will always get an A+ from me.:woot:

Not to mention it allows for a more flexible schedule. Anything that limits their exposure to daylight.

But yeah, I loved Forever Knight, eventually, I need to get the DVD collections. I always thought it was a great show, and there are a lot of things I like about it that trump even Angel. And the series finale, still one of my favorites of any show. Nothing was more poignant and heartbreaking than
LaCroix standing over Nick, who was grieving over having failed to turn Natalie, and saying "Damn you, Nicholas.", before driving a stake through his heart.

Nick Knight was an actual cop not a private detective.

I liked that show at first but it got tedious pretty quickly. The tv movie pilot was cool though.

You mean the one with Rick Springfield as Nick?:woot:

Not my favorite actor but still the pilot was better than the series.

I wouldn't go that far. I thought Human Target was a much better fit for him. Too bad the show didn't last very long.

Thank You.

Angel is my favorite show of all time, hands down. I miss it everytime I turn the tv on. Which is why, when I bored, I rewatch my Angel DVD's.
