I realize this will be a short-lived thread. But I think this film is hilarious and was curious if anyone else likes it. I guess it's my guilty pleasure. So many great dumb lines.

"your god can't save you, but I can"

And the scene where he blows up his whole team gets me every time.

I had a vague understanding of the character and watched it on a whim. The "I will suck your dick" scene made me a fan. "Just tell me what you want me to ****!"

MacGruber accidentally killing his team, and the sex scenes.

Yes, this movie is great.

I always found the skits on SNL fairly funny but didn't want to waste money seeing it in the theater because I didn't think it would be any good. I'm glad I gave it a chance on home video because the movie was actually pretty damn funny.

"Sorry, I just took an upper decker in the master bathroom"

I am ashamed to admit it, but this movie gets me ROTFLMAO all the time.

I liked it but having never seen any of the SNL skits or knowing much about it some of the inside jokes I didn't get. Not having seen MacGuyver since the 1980's didn't help either.

The movie itself was good, I'm surprised it didn't do better but the inside jokes and references it had were too obscure.

Never even seen the first MacGrubber, so nope, negative on a possible sequel. :o

I thought MacGruber was hilarious. I own it on DVD. One of the few movies that can make me laugh on repeat viewings.

I enjoyed it. Me and the other 5 in the theater. lol

Not a fan of MacGruber, but I still like MacGuyver (which was one of my favorite shows while growing up), and the best thing is that I can now watch the episodes on Netflix.

The thing about MacGruber is that conceptually it's stupid. But I was shocked on how funny and witty it was; there's a hidden genius behind it all.

"There's like a million wires in here. I'm more of a three-wire guy." :woot:

I always see this listed on Netflix. I thought it was panned and bombed at the B.O.

But since you guys all love it, I guess I'll have to check it out sometime this week.

It was panned and it did bomb. But seriously, give it a shot. It's hilarious.

I think it's a classic.

Fun fact: Christopher Nolan loves MacGruber.
