My redboxes don't carry the PS4 and XBO games.
And I've heard a lot of people say that its hard to rent new games from gamefly right as the come out. Anybody know of any other ways?

You would think the new gen consoles would offer you a 24 hr digital download to play for a few bucks as a rental. If you like it, you could have the option to pay off the remainder of the balance.

I too find it perplexing that this isn't a thing.

do you have any video rental stores in your town? that might be your best bet.

Yeah I would really like that. My whole reason for wanting to rent is because I want to try out Alien Isolation, but it doesn't seem like a game with a ton of replay value. I don't feel like paying 40 bucks to actually purchase the game

Unfortunately they have all closed down. We lost the last blockbuster over a year ago.

awww.... :(

yeah........my town used to have like 3 or 4 different rental chains. but now it's just down to one chain ( and it's not Blockbuster ).

another option might be a local used game shop like Vintage Stock.

I have a Vintage in town, and I believe they let you rent games in addition to buying them.

Have you checked many Redboxes? I found that there is quite a bit of variation. I.e. some carry Xbone titles, others do not.

Well I used the online site to check the ones around me. Is that reliable?
And actually no redboxes even carry Isolation. lol. :(

I don't know. Honestly I would just go see in person.

But assuming you live in a decent sized town, one should carry next gen games.
