One of the strengths of X-men First Class was the exceptional skill of the younger actors who have since been discovered by Hollywood. To think, when she was cast as Mystique, Jennifer Lawrence hadn't even been nominated for her oscar!

So who do you think deserves a place on the second class? Perhaps you may even want to suggest a role for them if you like?

Just try not to choose flavour of the month type actors, y'know, people who should be cast because they're hot and on a popular soapie at the moment.

I can see Imogen Poots getting a role in a sequel. She was tremendous in "28 weeks later" and "Miss Austen Regrets"

Nicholas Hoult's co star on Skins would also make an interesting mutant. She's also one of my favourite actresses.

This guy just has way too much energy and charisma to go unnoticed

I'm thinking Lily Collins

I have a couple;

Amber Heard - I know she's suggested a lot for other comic movies, but she apparently almost had the role of Mystique, I don't see why she couldn't be in the sequel if there's a role she can fit.

Ben Barnes - I only have him in one of my shared dream castings for a project of mine, but he's truly an underrated actor. Despite the mixed reviews for the Narnia movies, I suggest you check out Dorian Gray. He's the title character and manages to hold his own against Colin Firth in a truly complex role.

Penn Badgley - Another underrated actor for me. He's the right age and he does have the looks and talent to play a good role in the X-Men movies, it's just sad that most the time he gets the roles of just the "guy friend", but he manages to put a certain charm into his characters so they're not just one note.

Deborah Ann Woll - Now about her, for a while I didn't get what was so great about her, but after seeing her in True Blood and Mother's Day, I'll say she's gonna be an upcoming star name, and it would be great for her to be part of the X-Men movies before it gets to that point.

Matt O'Leary - Another actor that was in Mother's Day, and some recent horror films after suffering being in the Spy Kids movies(I guilty pleasure like them), but he also managed to outshine Joseph Gordon-Levitt for me in Brick.

I'm sure I have more but I think this is good for now, especially considering there's only gonna be one new main character most likely.

I agree with Amber Heard. She was great in The Joneses and looks pretty good in The Playboy Club. I'm wondering what part she could play though. Maybe Magma? Dazzler? Boom Boom?

I know he's probably a bit too old now and it would probably rip up continuity if he appeared in an X-men First Class sequel but I would still want Daniel Bruhl to appear as Nightcrawler some time. He's a fantastic young actor.

If they make Second Class in the 70's I want even younger actors for the new x-men.

Havok, Banshee and Beast should look older than the new ones, I think. Specially the day Scott, Jean and Ororo are introduced (in second or third class)

So right now, the actors that will end playing them should have around 10 years old, hehe

Saoirse Ronan, Freddie Highmore, Emma Roberts and Aaron Johnson would be cool
