My son and I are going tomorrow. On display are original costumes and props from the Burton and Nolan movies, Chris Reeve's Superman movies, and the current DCEU. Plus some TV stuff as well (including Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman outfits). There's also loads of original DC artwork from over the years.

Anybody else going, or already been? Runs until Sept 9th.

Edit: Went today and thoroughly enjoyed it! Fantastic to see all those TV and movie costumes and props up so close (shame they didn't have the Adam West/Burt Ward B&R outfits or Helen Slater's Supergirl suit, but I guess they had to draw the line somewhere!). Really well laid out, with everything in a logical order. Some absolutely beautiful concept art/digital paintings from the movies. Great original artwork from the comics too. Especially liked the insight into the design and layout of comic covers. Probably spent two hours in there - and that didn't include the shop! If anyone else is thinking of going I really recommend it

Yes mate, went with Iceman few weeks back, a real treat ahead for you both. Some quality artwork and props, great coverage and history plus there is a decent shop for t-shirts and memorabilia, you'll both love it.

Tickets are good value but yes the accompanying guide is £16.00 and the t-shirts are around £20.00 upwards plus key rings, post cards, art cards etc.

That's the spirit mate, have a great time, plus they are happy to allow photos and pictures for social media etc. if your son wants a picture with any exhibits.

Awesome dude, glad it went well and you both enjoyed. The layout and thought gone into it is solid and the mix of history of each character is really well done.

no but I did see the 75 years of Batman exhibit at Warner brothers back in 2014 that was awesome!

Yes, went with Mandon Knight a while back. Loads of classic comic panels and great film props. I’d love if they expanded it to cover characters who haven’t appeared in films in more depth. No doubt it will also improve as more new films come out with new characters. Got myself a comics JL pencil case :woot: and had my eye on a comics Superman Doomsday T-shirt.

Nice! I picked up a Wonder Woman figurine, a 'Killing Joke' poster, and a Batman heat change mug :yay: Plus the programme/guidebook had come down in price to £12 (really impressed with the quality of that).

Sounds good. Got a pic of the WW figure?

Ah, nice. I really want to get a comic-book style WW figure.

They do a Batman in his BvS armour in the same series but they didn't have any of those left :csad:

A comic-book WW figure would be nice. Do you ever get up to Forbiddden Planet in London? They might be able to help you out.

Yes, one of my favourite shops in the world. :woot:
