The Dark Knight Anybody live near the Hangars in London

I wanted to ask anybody to see how much there doing in the hangars I wonder if Nolan's brother is at the Hangars or in Chicago with his brother.

That's the thing, once they head to England we'll probably get almost no spy pics or anything until they return to Chicago because they'll be shooting inside in England. I imagine they'll be able to keep people out of Cardington.

they aren't even in london, they are in bedford which is almost nearer oxford.

although some people are saying they are shooting IN LONDON and i am confused.

Willy Wonka in Gotham? He does have some similarities to the Joker. Perhaps something to do with a plot of his? Or maybe it's just there to supply the crew with some candy.

Anyway, this was what the scooper said:

"This morning, I took some quick photos of the exterior of the Cardington Sheds. As you will see from the pictures attached, I managed to get shots of a SWAT van outside the sheds, but also managed to capture a suprising addition to the vehicles parked outside. It looks like three Wonka vans parked close to each other. What are they doing there?"

The hangers were last used for some movie called Fred Claus which had Vince Vaugn in it i believe, but the Dark Knight is said to be filming there at the end of of May. The Wonker buses were there when Begins was filming ( i was an extra, doorman to Falcones' club) as was a load of props from the Harry Potter movies. I know Warners have some sort of lease on one of the Hangers until 2008, so it looks like it will be utilised until then.

for a while now . Its good to know i wasnt imagining "flying" Ford Anglia car used in the Harry Potter films , as that was parked outside as well .

Yeah you would need to be a crack ninja to get into Cardington

You just do a HALO (High Altitude-Low Extraction) jump from a C-141 at 20,000 feet and make a pinpoint landing on the roof of the hangar. Cut your way in, install your cameras, and hide yourself in the back of a laundry or delivery truck for the ride out.

I wonder if they used those hangers for the wonka movie and left the trucks there. Or they are gonna re-paint the wonka trucks for TDK.

Wonka wasn't filmed at the hangers, i guess WB are just using it to store props from some other movies that were filmed near by (Pinewood). The whole of the Narrows set, the Monorail, and the front of Arkham are still inside one of the hangers (i forget which one), and i've been told that there is currently extensive electical enginnering works going on at the Gotham set.
And Jayskate, you're quite correct that the Ford Anglia is there!

Sorry, about three of the same posts. But, with Willy Wonka trunks you got to remember WB made the new Willy Wonka movie. So, I think nolan will use a them in the dark knight or they could be making a new Willy Wonka movie.
