Interesting figure, I know nothing about it, but I would like to know what scale it is.

7inch? 12inch?

It's just fancy shots of the Medicom figure.

Medicom have a goofy looking head. This figure's head looks very accurate

The head in that last shot looks completely real. I thought it was a real photo for a sec.

I think, as has already been said, these are just very flattering pics of the Medicom.

Early promo pics of the Medicom looked great too. The paintjob on the face was much better than the one that the real toy had, and a good paintjob on the face can make a whole lot of difference.

Well it's definitely not the Takara, so it must be either the Medicom or Hot Toys.

The third photo in post #1 shows a distinct indentation in the proximity of the ear:

... this same indentation is clearly visible in the Medicom:

... an indentation that does not exist in the Hot Toys:

CONCLUSION: The figure seen in post #1 is the Medicom.

it looks good in those pictures, but as somebody said thats the prototype and prototypes can differ alot from the final product, does anyone have a pic of there medicom figure so we can compare paintjobs. :)

thanks, and whoa there is a big diffrence.

Which means though, that you could theoretically paint your own figure back to a great paintjob and improve your figure hugely.

I just don't have the confidence to do that though - I'd probably make it worse.

It's strange, because Medicom's Darth Vader figure had a great paintjob on the Anakin face under the helmet. You think they could afford to give you a great paintjob on the Batman face - especially considering its like a third of a square inch or something.

But a paint job isn't going to fix the proportional issues of the Medicom.

That's the Medicom RAH 12" Figure. IMO - the best BB figure on the market.

Alot of the official pics of the medicom figure had the camera slightly above the figure - pointing down at the figure. This lead people to think that the figure's head was too big, and the legs too short.

Also - a human head with a thick layer of latex around it - with thick latex padding around the neck - and big pointy ears - can't help but be a little big for the body. If you look at a few shots of the actual movie costume - you'll see this, too. I prefer a slightly large cowl over one that makes it look like the figure has tiny noggin underneathe the cowl (Takara Figure).

IMO - the cowl on the Medicom is better than the one on the Takara. The Takara has a more Bale - looking chin area sculpt, but the overall shape of the Takara figure head is weird at certain angles - too tapered moving towards the shoulders. It gives the figure a pencil-neck appearance at certain angles. And as mentioned - the head actually seems too small considering there's a cowl around it.

The only actual "slight" body proportion issue with the Medicom is that the shoulders need to be a bit wider. Once you add some padding to widen the shoulders - everything evens out.

And as for the Hot Toys figure - I've examined one at the store and it's also better than the Takara overall, but it's a bit too beefy looking. Batman ala WWF almost.

I'll have both the Takara and the Hot Toys one in hand in a couple weeks to compare, but considering that you can get a Medicom for much less than a Takara or a Hot Toys (almost 50% less in some instances) now - I feel a lot of Batman fans are missing out on a MUST HAVE figure because of the incorrect body proportion issue. The shoulder issue isn't even that big a deal, too.

I'll post pics of all three - and the altered shoulder version of the medicom figure soon.

The Batsuit In The Movie Was Good Except For The Belt. It Dosnt Look Like It Has Enough Pockets For All His Gadgets.
