like within the next 4 hrs? lol

were having an open note (including online) midterm, and i left my thumb drive with reference materials on it at home, and just have my text book... and im a lil freaked. any help?

I suppose it's a little late now? Sorry I didn't see this, I probably could've helped you. So how did it go? What class is this for?

I have 2 classes involving scripting right now... and there pretty much the bane of my existence, i'm much more of a visual guy then a technical guy, so the web deign part of my major has always frustrated me. But the 2 classes i have are Java Scripting (we use dreamweaver) and Action Scripting 3.0 using flashCS3.

I had my book with me, and i think i did a decent job... but it was one of those ehhhhhhhh kinda test where it really could go either way.. i just hope i passed.

I had to use DreamWeaver back in a High School web design class but I prefer to just write the code from scratch. I've worked with JavaScript quite a bit, I used to want to be a video game designer and before I knew any real programming languages I used to make little JavaScript games and stuff. It's been a while since I've written any JavaScript now but I think I would still remember. As for Action Script, I never worked with it but I've done enough programming now that I could probably pick it up quickly. I would have to learn some new things but most of it would be remembering the syntax. In College I took a C++ class one semester and JAVA the next and sometimes I would mix up the syntax, add a semicolon where I didn't need one or leave out a parenthesis or something like that.

When I was learning JavaScript I used this site a lot. I don't know how far you've gotten in your class, maybe that can't show you anything new but what I really loved was the examples. If you're allowed to use websites for reference while you're taking tests this would probably be a helpful resource.
