Royce Gracie vs. matt Hughes at UFC 60! It will be a war!

Not really. I did once, and it seemed as if they did anything but fight.

Best. Sport. Ever!
One of... at least.

Will you be watching it on PPV? Gracie is a legend but I think Hughes can beat him. Look at how Shamrock and Couture were defeated. It may be Gracie's turn.

Do you watch TUF3?

Are you sure it's the UFC and not WWE?

It was UFC. WWE matches while not "real" are at least entertaining.

I liked Michael Richards as Stanley with his mop in this movie.

Which one?
I've seen a few where the fighters don't do much but just walk around the octogon for about 2 minutes. That gets on my nerves!

I had a viedo, and a few on Fox Sports Net. I thought UFC was hardcore fighting, but all I saw was the "fighters" hold on to each other with a rare punch or kick.

Gracie was the man of ufc and could beat anybody in the octogan..but now with all these stupid new dumbass rules..matt hughes will take him

The UFC has rules. I thought it was hardcore fighting. Apparently not.

I don't know. Don't underestimate Gracie's ability to adapt. I think this one's going to be a tough match to call prior to it happening. It could go either way.

Do you know when was Gracie's last fight? He's not been defeated in the Octogon, right? I believe one Japanese fighter (Pride Fighting) did beat him.

I don't know when his last fight was, but he's never been one to slack on his training, whether he's preparing for competition or not. I think that Pride fight had a lot of controversy around it if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure there's a UFC thread in the Misc. TV forum already...

But nobody posts in it so this is as good a place as any to talk about it.

Something that's annoyed me about all of the contestants for The Ultimate Fighter...they're pretty green, and that's to be expected. But besides that, they're not conditioned very well at all and can't seem to get through a round without looking like a bus just hit them. I'm not sure if any of them are fully ready for the pros.

It's going to be an interesting fight. I don't know who to root for. Gracie's my favorite from yesteryear (I've been watching since the first UFC) but Hughes is my current favorite. I just hope that age hasn't slowed Gracie down at all. If he still fights like he used to... watch out Matt.

There were some quitters last season and it looks like this week might reveal another one.

I was told that in the last UFC fight, the winner of TUF3 was revealed. Did anyone watch that?

Matt's capable and I like him, but I'd like to see Gracie pull it off just to show these younger guys how it's done and that he can still go. I think it's really going to come down to conditioning more than anything else.

This doesn't look to be a popular thread... but did anyone watch last night's TUF3? Friggin' Noah!
