Now that the show is over, is there anything about the show you would've changed about it. Maybe the way characters are handled, episodes were executed, etc.

Please give some real, reasonable changes. Don't post any "Replace this show with new DCAU" posts or something similar. Please provide some intelligent and mature suggestions and discussion.

I'll be posting some of my possible changes later. But, if it were up to you, what would you have changed/added?

An older cast after a few seasons. Like Nightwing, black costumed batgirl, More mature Joker, and some women in the JL

Kevin Conroy voicing Batman for starters but that's just favoritism on my part. :woot:

I'd alter the art style just a tad. Add Azrael in a few episodes, Nightwing...

-More Harley including a Harley/Ivy episode

-Kept Yin after season 2.

-I guess if it would satisfy the masses, give Joker some shoes, a haircut and make him more like he was in Batman VS Dracula

-Kept Ethan as Clayface and Firefly as Firefly.

Would've thrown in Harvey Dent on the strength! He would'nt even have had to been Two-Face yet, but I would have definitely put him in. And more mob/gang related episodes like TAS had. With crime bosses muscling in on old buildings and kicking families out and what not.

And Joker, I'd just make him a bit more..classy as far as the way he dresses. The random and chaoticness of his clothes was a good contrast to Batman, but I'd have rather seen him in a purple suit. I liked the dreadlocks, but I'd rather see a suit.

Some of my changes:

- Make a second part or continuation of the Wrath episode. Maybe have Scorn die from the laughing gas and Wrath survive, and he can avenge his brother's death.

- Developing Bruce and Selina's relationship. Something that has been ignored as more superheroes came into the show.

- Maybe introduce a third Clayface, just for the hell of it.

- Actually make that Hush DTV. That would've been brilliant.

- Stronger partneship with Commissioner Gordon.

- Develop some of their lesser villains that actually have potential, like Gearhead, Maxie Zeus, or Spellbinder.

- More reletionship between Batgirl and Poison Ivy. Maybe even making an episode of her trying to go straight, but failing miserably. Harley and Ivy sounds nice as well.

That's all I have.

The show's over?! I'm out of the loop. I knew Legion was gone but, didn't know about TBM. I've noticed it missing since spidey started and thought maybe it was on hiatus or something. I never liked the show too much but got into it in the last season since it got a bit better and the Team-ups started.

What I'd have done differently is The Joker. That was not the Joker.

That was horrible. I'd have put Two-Face in.

I did like Black Mask in it though. Too bad he wasn't in TAS. He'd have been better in that.

I'd have made Bane better too, none of that red skinned crap.

Harley needed more personality. But it's hard to do better than TAS Harley, but they could have tried at least. From the little I saw of the new one she was so drab.

Maybe they'll do a new Batman cartoon soon and make it better than TBM.

Just listened to the first season theme it was so cool it reminded me of a toned down Batman beyond

I would have changed a big part of "The End of the Batman", since it was the only thing in the show that had unreached potential. Some of my changes:

* Eliminate that useless episode "Joker Express" and make this episode a two-parter.

* Instead of having Scorn as Wrath's brother, I would have put him as an orphan unrelated to Wrath. William would have felt alone, and he would have kidnapped a toddler Andy from an orphanage and raise him as his "brother". Not only does that get rid off a major plothole in the actual episode reguarding Scorn's age, but it would make Wrath seem quite disturbed and scary.

* Better yet, take Robin and Scorn off the two-parter, and introduce the sub-plot involving Comissioner Gordon. That was probably my favorite part of the original story, and it was a shame that it was removed from the show.

* When Batman goes over Wrath's past and his tragedy, have his parents actually die, instead of getting arrested. I thought that was a completely stupid example of network censorship that took me off the episode.

* Finally, during Batman's final fight against Wrath in the Bat-cave, have Wrath accuse of Batman being an "ungrateful brat". Have him rant about how Bruce at least had Alfred in his life when he lost his parents, while William had no one and was always alone. Yeah, that was from "Spectacular Spider-Man" with Venom, but a similar kind of line would have fitted Wrath as well.

Those are some of my changes. What do you guys think of them?

I would have played up the dangerousness of The Joker's insanity. I think they portrayed the nature of it well. The theatricality and randomness of it. He's a mad genius lost in his own world. But, the fact is, while I don't at all mind him sometimes being a harmless prankster, the fact is he is also, quite often, very very dangerous because of his madness. There was no threat from the character. Even when he was being outright homicidal, there was no sense of danger. No sense of "holy **** this guy is crazy." I understand it was a saturday morning cartoon show, but you can still generate that sense of danger and meet standards and practices.

Also, I would have given him shoes.
