World APOCALYPSE Costume WIP Pics

Been a while since I visited the X men forums but I've been working on this for a while now.

Chavant Soft NSP Green clay..

This gives an idea of how big the head is over the life cast of an already big guy..

Silicone casting over life cast fresh from mold..This gets pulled on like a regluar mask then sealed down to the face around the mouth and eyes....he'll also have good mouth movement with this..

It's all cast in silicone, head and torso...
It's got about 20 layers of color on the face and only a few for the neck and head but it's well on it's way now.
The face is missing some depth and some highlights here and there but over all I'm pleased with the outlook so far. Sorry for the blurry pics.
It's very hard to photograph because the face is a blend of 4 different metallic powder pigments that reflect light like a mirrror...it looks cool in person but I'll be dammed if I can take a decent pic of it...

I'll be posting the body later this evening.

...here's some of the chest. There are all sorts of washes on it but I dont think it's even close to being done yet...still, makes for fun eye candy I think...

I'll keep updating this as more parts become ready enough to show.

Here it's all on top of a very tiny mannequin so the shoulders sag a bit but it still looks cool I think...

I'll have a bunch more in the next few days.

If he did, he's ridiculously talented. The look of Apocalypse is definitely from XML2, but yeah, it appears to be sketches.

This could quite possibly be one of the best costumes I've ever seen.

The pics in the background are from the game, I think...I'm not a gamer so cant know for sure but I didnt draw them that's for sure....

Just Photoshopped them so I could better see the details....
