So after playing through Fallout 3 yet again, I realized it would be a pretty sick RPG
Screenname of the Proposed RPG’s Game Master: Carnage27
Do You Have An Instant Messenger that we can reach you on for better conversation? (i.e MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ect.) And if so, what is your screenname?: On AIM, flyerfan3388
Gamemasters/Assistant Gamemasters already chosen: Myself, AGM yet to be chosen.
How will the overall layout of the RPG be?: Just like our other staple RPGs, with NPCs and PCs. All characters will be custom, unless someone is familiar enough with the Fallout Universe to bring in a character from the game.
Since this could be a huge area to cover, the game play area will include Philadelphia, Southern and Northern New Jersy, and New York City.
Premise of RPG, if it is a user created RPG see below for applicable additions to this Applicaton, (Must be a paragraph or longer).
The year is 2280, two hundred years after the Great War, when the world was plunged into the darkness of a nuclear holocaust in a matter of hours. Now, the landscape of our planet is very different. Water is irradiated, only drinkable when purified by science. Most of Earth's plants and animals have perished, destroyed by the aftermaths of atomic war. The very geography of the planet has been altered by the massive release of energy of every atomic weapon.
But humans, humans are still fighting for survival in this new world. Wastelanders huddle together in shanty townsr the ruins of America's great cities, doing anything and everything to protect themselves from the dangers of the outside.
Dangers that are plentiful. Super Mutants roam the wastes, kidnapping and slaughtering any who cross their path. Raiders and slavers look to profit of the weak and infirm. And mutated animals prowl the gimy landscape searching for prey.
And then there are the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave. Knights in powered suits of armored, fighting for control of the former united states of America. Their technology is like something from science fiction, but they fight a war like we've seen before.
Because war...war never changes.
What will this RPG bring to the RPG forums? (please write two complete sentences):
A very fun, fairly mature game and setting. The Fallout Universe is not for the faint of heart, and I think it gives us an opportunity we've never had before.
