Baker would be awesome! There are alot of actors who could play a good Arthur, especially Worthington. Sean Bean and Tom Jane would be awesome, but Jane doesn't like super heroes. I just hope they see aquaman as one of the big seven and not a the fish guy who happens to be on the same team as bats and supes.

Unfortunately, I think Worthington would be unlikely based on what he is already committed to doing (according to IMDB). Hey, maybe they could cast Vincent Chase.

The best interpretation of Aquaman I have even seen was Mark Waid's take on the character in JLA Year One. In it, Aquaman is a stranger to the surface world and is having a hard time adapting to the culture. Nice touches include him speaking too softly because sounds carry differently in water. Importantly, he does not see himself as a "superhero". He is an awkward and often frustrated character.

I really liked this "Stranger in a Strange Land" approach to the character, so I hope they maybe draw some inspiration from there.

Seeing how aquaman reacts to different environments and how he can handle himself in superhero situations when not in the ocean i.e, bank robberies, super brawls, saving civillians, using his powers(yes, he has powers) on land, and performing epic feats. It'd also be great to see how the people except him and how he reacts to being approached by these new people in a new place. He could have some knowledge about humans, but not enough like he does the see. I don't want him to come off like namor.

eh, with your description the line between Namor and Aquaman is blurry, this aquaman sounds more like the Aqua-mariner.

Sorry, I was trying to go for the PAD version of aquaman. When he first came on land he didn't know much about the world and Arthur Curry the lighthouse keeper taught him english and about the surface world. Since they probaly won't showcase his origin in the movie, i was thinking they could have him somewhat know about the surface. Then if he ever gets his own film his origin can be explained.

Yeah, PAD version of aquaman was good, I just didn't like the costume. It was like a bad inside joke. Oh, aquaman should look like a pirate!

How would you guys feel about a solo Aquaman film and what would be the storyline you would like it to follow?

I think a Aquaman movie would've tremendous potential. As for the storyline, i'd say it should not be limited to one specific version of the character, but combine the best elements of it's history. The Aquaman Screenplay i've written a while back however is loosely based on the 1989 "The Legend of Aquaman" Special...

A solo film for Aquaman would be awesome. There is so much material to work with and a very rich history in comics can eaily guide the director. The film should be epic. Show atlantis, show creature's we've never seen before, and, make aquaman look cool. He has enough badassery to make this possible. He's a king, husband, dad, and a hero. Juggling all those jobs is badass!
