I finally had a chance to see the Aquaman pilot that Millar and Gough did and I must say that it was very good. It would have made an interesting series had it been picked up. Is there any hope at all for this or has it been sunk for good? Does anyone know?

It cost, I think, $7,000,000 to make. It may be picked up after Smallville is over...but I'm not sure.

Doubt it. I wouldn't trust M&G with my cat.

Alot of people(including me) think there may be a Green Arrow show possibly in the works. I still think Aquaman and Green Arrow could work. Maybe start one next season, and the next show the season after that, which Smallville would have ended. You have two superhero shows at one time. Just not the same night.

Probably get a load of superhero Shows next year. all the Studios will be trying to compete/copy the success of Heroes. Mean there will by a flood of substandard Hero Programs with maybe one or 2 good ones.

I'm kind of tired of the whole "Let's make superheroes more grounded and down to earth"

I want to see a guy in a costume whooping super-powered bad guy butt WITHOUT the camp.

The ones I'd like to see would be:
Green Arrow
Aquaman
Black Canary
Nightwing/Birds of Prey or combine them
X-men, but like X-men evolution

theres a lot to be said about the camp- batman would not be a household name without the camp. The fact is Warner and DC put so many restrictions on TV projects in favour of movies the die hard fans will never really accept them. example- batman and wonder woman not in 'justice' in smallville they don't understand thats not the fault of the show or the creators

Just like Bart can't be called Falsh, probably Impulse or something else.

Aren't they planning a Moon Night series?

I'm not sure Aquaman could work long term. Haven't seen the pilot though but from the sounds of it he just fights different creatures from the Bermuda Triangle or something. Was the reason I stopped watching Smallville, in the beginning it was just another villain created by the Meteor rocks, found it grew stale very fast for me.

I'd like to see an Aquaman series, live action or animated.

I'd prefer the live series, you can see more emotion and special effects.

I'll take whatever I can get.

I rather see an Aquaman movie.
