Arad resigns... Just FYI

craziness

they should get mark bagley to sign :D lol

i just like the eye he has for Marvel's characters

It isn't good or bad. it's nothing.

He's still going to be working on Marvel films. And he wasn't really a factor in the films anyway. Only in their being sold. He was hit or miss with creative choices. He doesn't really get Marvel characters.

Im happy bout it, i dont like arad anyway, money has took over his mind

Arad went crazy a long time ago, and now all he sees is Wolverine and more money. :(

Plus he called us idiots.

YES!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

*Dances like an idiot*

Translation: "Now that the Associated Press is reporting that Marvel's deal with Fox will result in Marvel getting less than $7 million of X-Men 3's gross, AND reaction to the Ghost Rider trailer has been uniformly negative, I am resigning before I can be forced out by the board of directors for negotiating such a horrible deal with Fox."
Do you have a link (or some kind of source) you can hook us all up with?
He's prolly referring to this: http://money.cnn.com/2006/05/29/tech...ex.htm?cnn=yes

Doubt that's a surprise to Arad.

Psdt: Hello to the forum. -_-;;

Holy quote PWNGE!

cept Avi didn't say he's resigning for that reason..

if true, and how it seems he struck the independant deal with directors, looks like Arad got the "Norman Osborn" treatment :D lol

"Out am I!!?"

Quesada is the one we need to hope leaves. I felt kind of neutral about Arad.

It's defintely a plus. He started out well, but started stepping off the path halfway into his career there.

My only impression of Arad came from his comments on the Spider-Man movie DVDs. With commentary turned on, Arad said some things I liked. He sounded involved, and it looks like he must have really gotten into the movies. And they are quite profitable - if done right.

I view him as one of Rothman and Quesada. It's great news to me.
