Archtypes

There are several Archetype in comics, characters that are so iconic and created a type of superhero that others try to copy.
I know Superman and Batman are archtypes. I think Spider-Man is one too. They were the first of their kind of hero in comics

What I am wondering is how many archtypes there are out there, and who are they?
How many different Archetype can you name?
