Now that Marvel's heroes have been effectively "federalized" under the terms of the SHRA( well the majority of them) with vacation time health care benefits and presumably pensions, are they eligible for insurance or like conventional law enforcement officers( State or Federal) or members of the US Armed Forces are they poor choices for such provisions due to the risk of their jobs( As Hercules and Wonder Man are virtually immortal if not pretty much indestructible, one wonders what the point of any insurance policy would be!)

I remember them saying in Civil War that they were entitled to benefits like paid vacations and pensions. And like all other federal employees, they are most likely entitled to health insurance.

But they have no dental. That's the real reason why Captain America rebelled.

I think it'd be pretty awesome for a super-powered being to join the Army. Not in the way currently, I mean just join up like a normal person, E-1, and work their way up the ladder.

Although that's really only because I could relate.

I was casually reading Casualties of War just right now and stumbled upon that people who are registered with the SHRA do get health insurance and a paycheck and according to Civil War #1 there are also pension plans and paid annual vacation.

Of course I doubt that registered heroes like Reed Richards and Iron Man took those benefits because they don't need them, they're more suited for registered heroes like Spider-Man
