How does the DC company to store its "comics" forever? Have they "digitalized" all the issues stored in computers or things like that?

I was thinking about it, yesterday. ARE the ANIMAL MAN VOLUMES "digitalized" as files, in order to press them "ad libitum"?

Another question: many times, there are "flubs" like colours reverted or really got wrong... can they "fix" that in subsequent re-releases?

They cast spells to preserve them. They are all top-level wizards.

My avatar has Hal punching himself in the head. There's nothing foolish he wouldn't do.

What are you even asking? If they hang on to them after printing? Of course they do. But they're not indestructable, they aren't going to remain in immaculate condition for all time.

Leaguer,

Thanks for the nice response. I was referring to the digitalized stuff... do they digitalize every issue in the proper way? Do they store the stuff in digitalized form?

They probably keep the acetates they used to make the comics in the first place.

Ehm. Are you really sure?

Well like many companies now they are in the process of digitalizing what they can. I actually had a job for the BBC as a digital archivist.

Considering DC's back catalog there is one hell of a lot of stuff to get through and probably haven't got through a majority of their stuff. I expect everything in a trade, archive, or a showcase has been digitalized before going to print.

Everything being published now-a-days is in digital format too but that's rather obvious.
