Are there any (pay) downloadable movie sites that work with Macs?

I'm trying to get Al Capone (1959) and it's not on dvd and I can find it on all these downloadable movie sites, but I can't find one that works with Mac computers.
Even Amazon's rental thing (which I didn't know existed until today) only works with PCs

Movielink.com has it and says it is a WMV file, but can only be downloaded to a PC. I have a PC laptop but it's old and not very good, I wonder if I could buy/download it on my PC, transfer it to my Mac and see if Windows Media Player would play it?

I don't think there's a Windows Media Player for the Mac. But you can transfer it over to the Mac, dl the "Flip4Mac WMV" plugin, and QT will play it just fine.

There is a WMV for the mac, but it won't play. It says the filename and path may be incorrect... I'll try to flip it like you said.

Didn't work, I guess the website has some kind of code in the movie that prevents it from being transfered to a Mac... Which makes no sense to me. There has to be a way around it.

Upon further research, I believe that the file has an encryption which requires you to enter the Movielink website username and password to use it on another computer... As long as that computer isn't a Mac... Grrr

iTunes Music Store has movies available for purchase, dude. And, yeah, any site that has WMV files with a DRM scheme on them like Movielink isn't going to have files that will work with a Mac.

I am well aware that Itunes has movies, But the selection is not that wide, especially not wide enough for the movie I mentioned.

I bought Tunebite to fix the problem, but my first attempt took 2 hours to complete and some how only got 7 seconds of footage.. So I am trying again with little to no hope. If it would just work then I could transfer it to my Mac and all would be fine.
