I was sitting on the train this morning on my way to work, and I had the Tigger song stuck in my head. You know it:

[YT]dJFyz73MRcg[/YT]

"The most wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one."

Read that again and think about it.

Tigger is clearly some sort of sociopath. He is narcissistic. He attacks those around him seemingly at random. And what else? He's the last of his kind.

We here at SuperHeroHype are familiar with Lasts of their Kind. Superman. The Doctor. Avatar Aang. King Kong. Knuckles the Echidna. El Blanco. Tigger.

But Tigger is happy he's the last Tigger. Hell, he's proud of it. It's a "wonderful thing" that his species is nearly extinct. At first I thought this was merely anti-conservationist, but then it dawned on me: Tigger probably killed all the others.

Who else does this sound like?

Who else is the last of his kind?

Who else is happy to be the last of his kind?

Who else is proud of it?

Who else committed genocide against their own people?

I rest my case.

An apt comparison. Hmmm. I've always thought there was a darker side to Tigger.

I have to say, I always found Tigger to be deeply disturbing to me...
You have articulated very well those feelings and thoughts he generated within me.

Tigger needs to be apprehended and immediately brought to justice for his heinous crimes!

I shudder to think about what his New 52 reboot will look like.

Ferret, I want to get you a black cobra, just to go around the neck.

Tigger, please. :o

Well personally i think a evil Goodyear, conglomerate came and seeing a cheaper more economical way to produce tires, condoms and rubber rain coats came to the hundred aces woods! There they hunted tigger and his species to the point of extinction for their vulcanized hides !
only Tigger was able to escape, thanks in part to Pooh Bear's illegal honey operation! stowing away in a honey jar and making his way to the hundred ace woods to join Christopher Robins and his band of freedom fighters!Plotting revenge for the extermination of his people and the injustice done to him by THE MAN!!

its always the MAN!!

I forget who, but someone on here pointed out that all of the Winnie the Pooh characters had some sort of serious problem; like addiction, schizophrenia, and depression.
