This'll be Direct-To-DVD/Blu-Ray. If it was scheduled to get a theatrical release, that'd be a big epic fail move for 'Fox' (in my opinion).

LOL I'm happy and disapointed at the same time. Happy cuz I'm a big Dragon Ball Z fan and they did a horrible job on it, horrible. I mean it was like they made there own little storyline for Dragon Ball Z. I am curious though on how Gohan would have been done.

Yeah, DBE didn't make a profit and I doubt the DVD sales are stellar. No DBE2. Thank god.

Gohan would probably be just another teen drama story like DBE. If they made Goku into a love sick puppy then Gohan would probably be even more so.

Yea I'm just waiting for FOX to actually care about their movies before I get excited for a Fox movie... Avatar don't count its a James Cameron film not a Fox film

I doubt there will ever be another Dragonball movie. Maybe if there's an anime-based movie craze a few years in the future someone will give it another shot, but DBE was pretty much just a sad bookend on a franchise long past its prime.

yea its to bad DBE treated the anime terrible, i didnt see the movie myself. But now it will just be harder for someone else down the road who wants to adapt the toon into a new movie. but i am sure years from no someone else and hopefully a better studio will take it more seriously.

Yeah, I always assumed it got made just to hold onto the rights. Doesn't mean they couldnt have made it great, but if Fox can churn out something to make a little money amd keep soemthing for later, they'll do it.
