I still feel the purpose of the casting for some of the superheroes will end up being small parts to show their existence and create the existence within their universe. When I see questions of "How will they juggle all of these characters?" it makes me wonder if I'm the only one seeing it this way. I would say it makes sense that some of the superheroes aren't even shown in costume yet. We just know these being with powers exist as Batman has been monitoring the phenomenon. Upon Superman being the first official superhero stepping out to the public eye, the two of them can bring together a team of people with abilities. Throughout the internet I've seen some people say "Don't call it Batman/Superman anymore, call it Justice League already" but I kind of think that's a jump to conclusions as much as any other idea at this point. If done correctly, it simply shows these characters exist and we won't need to retread as much origin wise.

I think they're doing Batman vs. Superman as the first part of a two-film saga chronicling the origin story of the Justice League. The first installment would go over the first meetings of Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman, and acknowledge the existence of the other characters. Then in Part 2, bring the whole team together and fight Darkseid or whoever the villain is.

I do like the idea of Batman monitoring all of these superheroes. Would love if it eventually led to a Tower of Babel adaptation at some point.

I would love the end shot of Batman/Superman to be the watchtower construction in space :D

I agree. I think it's all about preconceived notions of what this movie is. If they came out and said this movie is going to be called Man of Steel 2 and that Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Lex and whomever else is announced and people freak because it seems like too many characters...However if they said this movie was Justice League...people would complain that Superman, Batman, WW and Cyborg are not enough.

Since its been confirmed that BvS leads into JLA, the addition of several characters at least has a purpose, particularly if BvS ends in a cliffhanger. Really , I think the concern is more about having too many plotlines for each character which is usually where films like this stumble. Nolan had several characters in each of his films but the stories all wove together to feel like a unified whole. Its films like Spiderman 3 which have alot of storylines and characters which are all over the place. Alot of characters can be the problem if you're just shoving them in to sell toys, but if they are part of the story , then it can work.

As far as the internet chatter goes, no ones really gonna care about what people are saying on a chatboard come release day so to be concerned about it what fans believe or say ,is really kind of a waste of time. If anything I think fans pay too much attention and get too worked up about what other fans think about something. If you like the choices Snyder's made, in the end that's all that matters.

It's Batman Superman with camoes. The one who will have the biggest role is Wonder Woman. Don't get why people are so confused by this. If the movie were Justice League they would call it Justice League.

BINGO. We're getting a MoS sequel focused around the story and aftermath in how the actions in MoS effects Superman, bringing out other hero's out to the public eye by introducing Batman and cameo's thereafter by other League members, all the while Diana have a small, but impactful part that will prove to be significant enough to take us into Justice League. That's what I believe.

I think it'll still a Batman/Superman movie with a small but important role in Wonder Woman with short cameos of other potential DC heroes.

Easy way to continue Clark's story, introduce Bruce and Diana, and set up seeds for the Justice League
