Are you a film/DVD completist?

I know a lot of people will buy all the movies of a trilogy or set of movies whether it be movies associated by story or by a particular filmmaker or actor, despite the fact that some of the entries are complete crap even to them.

For example, I liked the first two Matrix movies in declining order, but I still bought the third one to complete the trilogy. I also recently bought all of the Superman movies, even though I don't like the third one and downright hate the fourth one.

I have all the Indy movies (no other way around that, but had I a choice, I would have bought them all seperately) and all of the original Star Wars movies. But I only own Revenge of the Sith and have no plans to buy the first two in the prequel trilogy.

But I haven't bought Rambo III nor the odd-numbered Star Trek movies, etc.

I am a fan of Mann, Coen Brothers, and Spielberg, and own most of their movies, but there are some I will NEVER buy.

I guess I would be a completist on a very liberal scale.

I own Blade 3 because of this :( I also own Robocop 2 and 3 as well :(

I have every Halloween movie, cause the first one is such a masterpeice, and I have all but A New Beginning of the F13 series

Yeah for the most part. But I also have Superman4 for the novelty of Nuclear Man.

I usually am a completist (like I typically have to have all of an artist's albums), but I find that's not really the case with DVDs. The only couple films I have that I don't necessarily enjoy are Superman II-IV. I bought the Ultimate Edition not to have the entire set of films, but to get all the amazing special features.

I also only bought B89 and BR, and not the 4 film set. And recently, even though I thought I was going to get it, I skipped on X-Men 3, even though it finished the trilogy. It's just too mediocre to own, in my opinion.

No. As much as I love Babylon 5, I have no desire to see the garbage that was "Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers".

Nor I do want to watch Blade: Trinity, Robocop 2 or 3, Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, Superman 3 and 4, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, The Roger Moore Bond films, The Timothy Dalton Bond films, The Pierce Brosnan Bond Films after Goldeneye.

Nope.
I have The Matrix Reloaded, but have no desire to buy Revolutions or the original. (The damn Matrix comes on TBS or TNT every weekend.)

Nope I'm pretty good at controlling myself when it comes to buying DVDs(mostly because I have no money to spend on them:csad: )

I thought I was, but X-Men 3 proved me wrong. I only have 1 and 2 and have no intention of getting the Last Stand.

I have the Matrix Trilogy, thought about not getting #3 but finally got it. I refuse to buy Blade 3. I have Halloween 1 and 2, will not get anymore. Have Friday the 13th 1-4, not getting anymore. Have M:I 1 and 2, will get 3 eventually. Only have 2 Bond films. American Pie 1-3, will not get the two spinoffs.
