I don't know if you like Marvel movies or not, but...I like Spider-Man and I'm getting a Spider-Man film this summer. I'm also getting a James Bond film in February 2020 AND a Batman film in June 2021. These are like, my three favorite characters. Batman, James Bond and Spider-Man. Having Shazam and Wonder Woman 1984 come out as well, is just icing on the cake.

Yep, im excited for Shazam! and Joker in this year and i already cant wait for BOP and WW84

Not really but this is the only superhero movie franchise I follow so I'll check it out. Only 2 I didn't watch in theaters were Man of Steel and Justice League.

In terms of DCEU, I'm a yes for Shazam (ridiculously excited), cannot wait. I have zero interest in the stand-alone Joker, so I may well even pass on a DC film (utterly unheard of previously) and a huge yes for WW1984.

Birds of Prey - if it had been done properly, then yes, as the shambolic mess it looks like currently, no I'm not.

Beyond the two year (taking us to 2021 beyond), looks like we have The Batman in 2021, which not really looking forward too without Ben tbh, but my biggest excitement has and will always remain and be HC announced as Superman in a stand-alone Superman flick, that is what will make me punch the air with glee and skip to the nearest beat. That, if announced for say 2023-ish would make up for all the JL b/s that happened.

To be honest: not really. I don’t exactly love the MCU and the DCEU is basically still in damage control mode (but I have hope that they’ll eventually get their **** together). So there’s a level of anticipation, but little to no excitement.

Mixed bag for me right now. I’m only excited for Shazam, Batman, and WW 84. I’m not exactly psyched for Joker, Birds of Prey or SS yet.

If WB announced movies for Hawkman, Martian Manhunter and gave updates for Green Lantern Corps then I’ll get hyped up for the future.

I would say yes overall. I am prob the least interested in BoP, but Shazam and WW84 I am very hyped for. Joker I think will be an interesting experiment, but I question its existence, LOL.

This is the most excited I’ve been about the franchise’s future since late 2015.

I’m really excited to see where the DCEU will be if all the announced films hit their mark.

Im looking for the Harley Quinn trilogy tbh

Now Affleck has left, and The Batman is most likely to be a complete reboot... you bet your rosy red ass I’m excited.

Just this for the moment:

The rest are eh.

Very excited for Shazam and Wonder Woman 1984. Looking forward to Joker and Birds of Prey, but I have some concerns, not looking forward to Suicide Squad 2 but I will decide based on RT score and reviews by posters here.

I don't know what to think about The Batman, all depends on casting and story.

Sort of.

But with the casting for Supes up in the air, it doesn't really feel like the DC universe to me, which is dampening my excitement on everything as whole, also due to the fact that the balance seems off in terms of actual superhero movies to supervillain / street level crimefighter movies on the horizon.

They keep talking about breaking away from a dark and gritty uninverse, and yet we have Joker, Suicide Squad, Sirens, and Batman on the slate and only a few colorful superheroes.

Aquaman, WW, and Shazam are fine and all. But I need to see me some Supes, Flash, and GL.

I'm excited for the DCEU (be that connected films or otherwise); I'm pretty content in saying that once they moved on from Snyder, they've got their films to work. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were solid, and I have no doubt that Shazam and WW2 will be solid too.

I can't quite say the same for the MCU however; it's had a bloody good run, but once Endgame is up, I'm not sure how invested I'm going to be; it's a safe bet (I think at least) that we'll lose (through various means) a lot of the core group, and what follows will feel like second rate characters, even though they're not.

The mere prospect that Captain Marvel will be superman-level powered irritates me to the point that I'm not sure about a future Avengers film with her in it (what'll be the point of anyone else when she can handle everything herself?) I'll remain optimistic, but sceptical at the same time.

I think the future, at least the upcoming years, are going to favour DC more than Marvel however, which isn't a bad thing, Marvel have definitely had a good run and they've done well through it, but I feel as though their films are going to take a backseat for a few years if DC can up their game, and get their films right - but it needs to be films that matter, not films (specifically) about Deadshot, Nightwing, Batgirl or Harley Quinn.

I've found the MCU quite bland to be honest, at least after 2014.

One step at a time. but I was excited prior to JL, and then JL killed my mojo, its slowly starting to come back, but probably won't ever be the same unless we get some deeper stories.

I don't know what deep story many fans talk about. which DC movie had a "deeper story " ?

Superman The Movie, Superman 2, Superman 3, Superman 4, Supergirl, Batman'89, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, Catwoman, Batman Begins, Superman Returns, The Dark Knight, Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns, Green Lantern, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice league, Aquaman.

Eh, I don't think most of the movies above had some deep story in them, some might argue that TDK and Watchmen as examples of movies with deep story but I dunno about that. maybe.

Maybe some Marvel movies have deep stories ? I think not.

I'm excited for it too. I love that it provides an opportunity to flesh out some of the slightly more obscure aspects of Gotham and the Batman universe. I really hope they take this opportunity to give us some of the Batman villains that might not make it into the movies like Professor Pyg, Firefly, Killer Moth, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Lady Shiva, Dollmaker, Anarky, Calendar Man or Maxie Zeus.

And you guys are crazy to think the MCU is bland or losing steam. They're just getting started.

Yes, im here for Lady Shiva, Killer Moth and Mad Hatter

Oh yeah. The only movie I'm probably gonna skip is Shazam. Everything else I'm there day one.

Nope. I felt like with the success of Wonder Woman and Aquaman, it should lead to road of recovery, but their 2019/2020 films just don't get me excited. Shazam could be good but what about that Flash movie? Birds of Prey looks like another style over substance based from that teaser, worst teaser ever. Joker is a one off, pass. Another Batman recast/reboot. Ww2 is the only one that is a must watch. I don't watch their Dc animated films, over all, a big pile of meh!

I'd love to see Pyg most of all out of your mentioned villains, followed by Firefly, Lady Shiva and Ventriloquist in these movies down the line. I'd put Shiva in the Suicide Squad instead/as well.
